Summary
When Kaeya was a child, he made a promise to Crepus. That he would keep his powers hidden. No one can know, not even Diluc.
“Promise me Kaeya. My beloved son, promise me.”
Kaeya still remembered the emotion in Crepus’ eyes that day, an emotion he later on recognized as fear and worry. His two small hands then were drowned in Crepus’ large ones. He remembered being scared of the strong reaction from his adoptive father of his powers though.
“Don’t show your powers to anyone.” Lest he be executed.
