My headcanons on foolishxd!! These are entirely my little ideas that i got pls have that in mind
; Foolish after ending the statue has created a tendency to stuck enchanted flowers so they never die or golden accessories that xd later on takes and it’s their way of communicating. for example, if foolish feels tired or someone is bothering him, he would leave a poppy on top of the statue and xd seeing it would immediately go see how he’s doing
; XD doesn’t know much about mortals (which is canon in the dsmp) and often hesitates (although it doesn’t look like it) while hanging around others, especially foolish, since he’s not fully sure if they get what he’s trying to tell or what is the meaning of the action.
; XD doesn’t let Foolish hug him for a whole while. not because he doesn’t trust him but the god is aware that even if he tried, he can’t do him much harm. but he can still hurt the god’s feelings – he can push him away, he can use his friendship like george, and then play the one abused
; Foolish at the beginning flinches when XD gets angry, yells, even if not at him. he fears him for a bit until seeing that there are things that the god doesn’t know, even if he’s the powerful immortal being. he learns of it and whenever feeling scared, starts rambling about random things ‘mortals’ do, such as greetings, ways of showing affection, what traditions mean to them etc etc. the god frankly doesn’t know what’s going on but takes it as foolish apologizing, even if he doesn’t have to.
; Foolish as a half god (or god but only of the seas and the sky) has a flower in a pot on one of his chests with materials he uses for his buildings, that changes with his feelings.
yellow rose? bad time, he’ll be snappy and possibly sleep deprived because of nightmares
(another headcanon popping in here, he has nightmares of the red banquet and getting killed at the eyes of others such as puffy)
savory? run that mf is going to idea-dump you so hard. he’ll have a notebook with him, furiously scribbling/sketching down something while talking.
larkspur? xd usually visits him on that days, getting foolish away from his projects and hanging out with him on the smp, bickering
; Foolish has used the excuse “this is how mortals greet their friends” and for a month or so used it to give a peck to xd’s cheek until the god dropped by to talk to george and asked him about it. que very embarrassed foolish when confronted about it
; XD accidentally turns on foolish’s abandonment issues when not visiting him for a week and when he comes back, he sees him exhausted, barely walking and having an derealization episode. he freaks the fuck out bc mortals don’t do that?? what is this new thing???? and holds his hand the entire time silently bc he doesn’t know how to comfort for shit
