There was a particularly loud shout coming from the medbay, where the original trio of vigilantes were having an intense verbal match, using words like well-aimed knives and phrases like flickering infernos.
"Do not worry," Alfred told the boy seriously, "Master Dick is on board with you being Robin, and the lad has a way of getting what he wants."
The last thing he heard before the grandfather clock slid close was Dick's incredulous, "Robin is mine, Bruce, not yours!"
