Chapter Text
“I’m bored,” Crowley announced. “I think it’s time for another adventure.”
“Hm. I have been meaning to check out this one place.” Aziraphale responded, looking up from his book.
“And this place is…?” Crowley prompted.
“A small town in America by the name of Gravity Falls. I’ve heard it attracts all sorts of weirdness. And said weirdness has nothing to do with heaven or hell! Isn’t that great!”
“Well, we haven’t got much else to do.” And that was that.

“Huh.” Crowley said, looking at a sign proclaiming ‘come visit the mystery shack!’ “What’d ya say, angel?”
“Sounds interesting!”
Soon the pair were standing in front of the so-called ‘mystery shack’. They walked in and were immediately greeted by a red-headed teen yelling
“Hey Mister Pines! Customers!” There was the sound of something falling over. While they waited, Aziraphale and Crowley glanced around. Crowley leaned over.
“Now this is my kind of place! It’s so obviously a con!” He whispered.
“WELCOME TO THE MYSTERY SHACK!” A voice, presumably Mr. Pines, yelled.
“Ah, yes. Hello to you too!” Aziraphale said cheerfully. “We’re new to the area and were wondering if you’re hiring? I’m Aziraphale, and this is my husband Crowley.”
“Geez angel, give him a chance to respond.”
“Hmmm. What are your credentials?”
“I ran a bookstore for years and am also an expert at chasing out unwanted customers.”
“I’m a menace and this con show seems like my kinda place. Plus Az doesn't sleep much.”
“Crowley!”
“You know what, I could use a couple more adults around here. Especially since my niece and nephew are coming in about a week to stay for the summer. You two’ll be taking the night shift tonight.”
