Kevin began to notice when SU seemed to be in a bad mood for these past two weeks.
His best friend sulked in an irritated expression as he just ignored Kevin whenever the white-haired male wanted to start a conversation with him. It makes Kevin confused as hell as he didn't know what kind of mistake he already made that caused SU to be angry like this.
"Is it because of that lunch yesterday? Or even before that?" Kevin muttered to himself as the pink-haired girl beside him sighed heavily with a resigned expression.
"Kevin, you are so dumb, aren't you?"
"What?" Kevin frowned as Elysia shook her head. His vice leader began to lean her back on the chair as she turned her eyes on him.
"I couldn't believe that a womanizer like you just failed to notice it yourself. I feel bad for SU."
"What the hell are you saying? And don't call me a womanizer. I'm not even close with any girl right now." Muttered Kevin as he crossed his arms. His azure eyes aimed straight at SU who sat on the front row in their class. The gray-haired male seems to have busied himself with a book which he is reading right now. He didn't want to disturb him.
Kevin's dejected face made Elysia sigh heavily as she couldn't let her leader have a depressed mood. Kevin is the front line of the Student Council and if the other members saw their leader like this, it will affect their mood as well.
"Could you recall everything that SU did in these past two weeks, Kevin?"
That question made Kevin go silent for a moment as he began to sink in retrospect. He tried to remember everything. In these past two weeks, there is nothing unusual from SU as they just did their daily routine as always. They live in the same dorm. Always go to school together. They are inseparable. And Kevin always defended his best friend from bullies too.
There is nothing wrong with their perfect friendship.
Or there is?
He tried to think about it harder. And that's when he found something wrong with it a bit.
"Wait…" Kevin looked lost in his thoughts as Elysia helped him to remember the most important things.
"Did you remember after your love confession got rejected by MEI a month ago, SU always tries hard to lift your mood?"
"Yeah, he helped me a lot to go through all of it." A soft smile formed on Kevin's face as he began to drown in the vision of the past.

It was Monday in the morning.
Kevin looked at his wristwatch as he grabbed his navy-colored school bag. The time is already at 07:48 AM. If he doesn't go now, he will be late for school. His azure eyes turned at Kalpas' room on the second floor. There is no sight for his third roommate. He must have already gone to school early using his motorbike.
"SU, are you not done yet? We are going to be late for school!"
"Wait for a minute. I'm nearly done."
Inside the kitchen, SU looked nervous as he tried to speed up his meal preparation. The white-haired male suddenly rushed to him as he widened his eyes in shock when Kevin already stood right behind him.
"What did you cook today? The smell is good. This is not noodles."
"Kevin! You nearly made me have a heart attack! At least, knock on the door first before you enter the kitchen!" Exclaimed SU as he grabbed his chest, trying to control his labored breathing. He then quickly closed the meal box before Kevin could look at it.
"Hey, what food is that? I want to see it-"
"Nope. Not now. You can see it later at school." SU quickly took the meal box and hid it behind him, earning a little pout from Kevin. His best friend frowned looking at how flustered SU was right now.
'SU looked kinda strange.' Muttered Kevin silently as he didn't know why.
"SU, are you okay?"
"W-What do you mean!?" Stuttered SU as Kevin began to worry. He widened his eyes when the white-haired male suddenly touched his forehead.
"Your body temperature seems normal though." Muttered Kevin. SU quickly grabbed his hand as he shook his head.
"I'm okay, Kevin. Look, what time is it!? We should hurry to school now! Let's go!"
"W-Wait, wahhh!" Kevin yelped as SU quickly yanked him to leave the dorm immediately. And later at school, when they finally had a lunch break, that's when Kevin began to feel suspicious as SU seemed to become even more nervous and tried to avoid him.
"Where are you going, SU? Shouldn't we eat our lunch together?"
"I need to go to the library first. I promised Miss Himeko to give some report to her so, just eat your lunch without me today. I've prepared your meal inside your bag. See you soon, Kevin!"
"Wait, SU!" Before Kevin could ask more questions, SU just left him alone in the school cafeteria. The white-haired male could only rub his back with a confused look. They never skip a day to have lunch together. Having to eat alone without SU is kind of lonely. He feels so weird.
"What a bummer…" Kevin silently sulked as he began to open his small bag and take out the meal box. He began to open up the cover slowly as he finally saw what was inside that box which SU kept hiding from him.
"Ah, what a beautiful meal you have there, Kevin." Interrupted Elysia as the pink-haired girl suddenly appeared out of nowhere and then sat beside Kevin. Both the leader and vice leader turned their eyes to the meal box which was filled with rice, some vegetables, sliced tomatoes resembling roses and so many heart-shaped chicken nuggets on top of it.
"Aww, so cute. Let me guess, this must be SU who prepared all this for you, right? Look at those heart-shaped nuggets, Kevin. It's so beautiful. It feels like a very cute love confession."
"What?" Kevin looked so dumbfounded as he couldn't take a hint from Elysia. He couldn't see anything special with all those heart-shaped chicken nuggets.
"Well, nuggets are nuggets, right? What's the difference? maybe SU just randomly bought these nuggets on the market and he didn't see the shape of it." The albino male merely shrugged as he took a bite of the nuggets. Elysia just looked at him in disbelief.
"But, Kevin! There are no heart-shaped nuggets in any market as far as I know! SU must have crafted it himself! And look at those sliced tomatoes! It's shaped like a freaking rose! He must have prepared this with all his heart! You should appreciate him more!"
Kevin went silent for a moment as he seemed deep in thought. Elysia knows well how SU's real feelings toward Kevin. Even all the students in the entire class knew how much SU had been pining for his best friend ever since forever. It's just Kevin who is too oblivious to that fact and it's making them all feel irritated sometimes.
A smile formed in the albino male as those azure eyes finally stared in admiration.
"So, you realize now?" Asked Elysia with anticipation. Kevin nodded slowly as he gazed at his meal box still with his sincere smile.
"I never realized this before. SU really has talent…"
"... to become a worldwide chef in the future."
"What!?" Elysia's jaw dropped in disbelief. And not before long, they suddenly heard someone desperately screaming and crying in the faraway place.
"Who's that!? Whose crying voice is it?" Kevin turned to his surroundings. Nothing. The crying voice slowly went away. Elysia just facepalmed and shook her head at the same time. She is the one who gives the idea to SU about showing his real love by giving Kevin a beautiful meal.
That crying voice just now must be from SU, she thought.
'I'm sorry, SU. Kevin is just too dumb to notice it.' she silently shook her head.

It was Thursday in the afternoon.
Senba Academy is having its intense basketball competition against the other school that day. A group of Senba students was cheering for Kevin's team on their seats. SU looked so nervous as he sat on the front row of the seat, watching Kevin intently. Besides him there is Hua that tapped his shoulder, reassuring him.
"Hua, are you sure this will work?" SU looked so unsure. The gray-haired girl nodded her head as she turned her eyes on Sakura, looking for support.
"Don't worry, SU. We will help you with this. I hope Kevin will get the hint. Right, Sakura?"
"Right. We will pull this banner together when Elysia gives the sign in the back. And I'm ready for it." The pink-haired girl nodded her head as she lifted one of the ropes that tied folded banners in her hand. Mobius who sat in the far back row just crossed her arms with an annoyed expression.
"I swear, your idea this time is so dumb, Ely. This will be so embarrassing. I'm not doing it!" Muttered the green-haired girl, irritated. Elysia who sat beside her just giggled while covering her mouth.
"Please, Mobius. We need so many people to spread this giant banner. We can't do this without you. Besides, you don't want to see SU getting sad all day, right? He is one of your team in the lab school. It will affect your school project if SU keeps making mistakes because he couldn't concentrate when fusing the formulas."
"Tch. I didn't have any choices, didn't I? She sulked. Her eyes turned at the giant folded banner behind her as suspicious feelings began to drown her.
"And what is the text inside the banner? You don't make it corny, right? It will embarrass SU so badly, you know."
"Well, about that…" Elysia could rub her pink hair, grinning nervously.
"Of course, it's not a straight-up 'I love you. But, since Kevin is so dense with indirect messages, I tried to make it a bit poetic but sweet at the same time. When we lifted a big banner together from the back row to the front row, Kevin would see it with SU standing alone on the front banner, staring at him with admiration. It will become the sweetest love confession ever, I can't wait to see it~"
The vice leader looked so excited with her plan as Mobius just shook her head looking at her. They turned their attention to the court as Kevin suddenly did a slam dunk effortlessly, marking the final victory for his team.
"Two points from Kevin Kaslana! With this, Senba academy reached its victory and became the winner once again!"
The sea of applause surrounded the Basketball court. They cheer in happiness with seemingly eternal victory for their dearest school. Kevin lifted his clenched fist as he shouted in excitement, making every Senba student cheer for their hero, their MVP, and for the one that brought that flawless victory.
"Everyone, get ready! Kevin will soon walk here! And SU quickly stands in the front row! Go, go, go!" Commanded Elysia, earning nods from everyone. SU gulped a little bit as he slowly stood from his seat. His heart was racing. He was against this idea first. But knowing Elysia, he couldn't reject the pink-haired girl's offer to help him confess his feelings to Kevin.
It's kind of embarrassing. But seeing all his friends wanting to help him like this made SU feel so touched. Deep inside his heart.
The albino male began to run to every side of the court as he finally caught sight of SU. A smile formed on his face as he wanted to approach his best friend. And that's when his azure eyes widened looking at the big folded banner that slowly opened from the back to the front seat behind SU.
"W-What..?" Kevin stopped in his tracks as he froze in awe seeing the banner reveal every text inside it. SU began to get so flustered that he could only bite his bottom lip hard to regain his composure.
"W-Well, what do you think, Kevin?" Asked SU, nervous. Kevin slowly walked toward SU as his attention kept to the giant banner behind him.
"Guys, I didn't know you all prepared this for me. The banner is so big and I'm in awe right now but…"
"What's wrong?" SU frowned as Kevin looked hesitant for a bit.
"I'm sorry, I couldn't understand the message. What kind of language is it? Is this Russian?"
"Wait, what!?" SU felt so confused as he quickly turned at the giant banner behind him. That's when he widened his eyes in shock as he covered his face in embarrassment.

The banner is actually in reverse.
That fatal mistake made SU silently cry as he quickly ran away from the Basketball court.
"S-SU? Are you okay? Hey, where are you going!? SU!" Kevin quickly followed his best friend as Elysia began to frown seeing it.
"Wait, where is the love confession? Why SU is crying!? What the hell happened!? Did Kevin reject him or what!?"
"You silly! Look at our banner! It's freakin 'reversed!" Interrupted Mobius as the pink-haired girl quickly got away from her seat and rushed down to the front row.
"Oh, no…" She gasped in shock as she covered her mouth feeling guilty toward SU.
Their second plan failed again.

Sunday evening.
SU just feels so tired with every failed confession that he did toward Kevin. He keeps thinking about what he did wrong and what he should do to make Kevin take the hint and finally understand his feelings for him. Should he just straight forward instead? His best friend is just too dense sometimes.
He knew the moment he sent some math riddles to Kevin to solve it so when he found the answer, he could see SU's love message for him. It was SU's biggest mistake because Kevin could never solve the riddle in the first place because his brain couldn't take it.
"What if I just send this picture to him?" His fuchsia eyes looked at the picture on his phone. A picture with I and U letter-shaped grass with a heart in the middle of it. He just found those random pictures on the internet. Maybe he should just do it since his best friend won't take the hint anyway.
Typical Kaslana.
He began to type a message lazily as he waited for his reply.

SU takes a deep breath as he quickly sends that picture to see his best friend's reaction.

Somewhere at the basketball court on Friday.
"Kevin, do you know how much I loved the color of your eyes? It reminded me of the beautiful sky. I often get lost inside it."
"W-What the? Urghh!" Kevin suddenly coughed on the water he was drinking. He looked worried as SU suddenly acted rather strange that day. The gray-haired male just sat beside him after he finished his Basketball training. His best friend smiles so widely that there is a hint of tiredness inside his fuchsia eyes.
"You should look in the mirror just to see how handsome you are."
"S-SU? What the hell?" The Kaslana quickly touched SU's forehead as if his best had been possessed by a ghost or something.
"SU? Are you sure you are okay? Are you sick? You acted so weirdly maybe you should rest-"
SU merely laughed as he shook his head in irony.
"See, even if I am straightforward like this to you, you just see me as a weird person."
"What?" Kevin got lost as he couldn't understand what the hell SU just said to him. His best friend just stares softly at him with a hint of pain inside his eyes.
"Kevin, I love you."
Silent.
Kevin froze on the spot as he nearly dropped the bottle in his hand. He didn't know if this was some kind of a joke as SU could only smile at him.
"S-SU, are you serious-"
"Of course not you silly! I'm just teasing you. Hahahahaha…" a peal of painful maniacal laughter could be heard as everybody inside the Basketball court began to turn their attention to SU with a scared expression.
"S-SU, wait! W-Why are you crying-" before Kevin could see SU more clearly, his best friend quickly stood as he turned his back and ran away from Kevin with tears flowing from his eyes. The Kaslana widened his eyes as he didn't expect SU to act like this.
"W-Wait, SU! What the hell just happened!? Why are you crying! SU!" His best friend didn't hear him as he slowly lost from Kevin's sight. His heart feels like it stops beating for a second as the sound of SU's cries still echoes inside his mind. His best friend is crying right in front of him just now.
There is no way SU is merely joking.
"Kevin, why are you so stupid!"
His azure eyes widened as he quickly turned at the sight of someone who suddenly stood behind him.
"Mobius?"
"SU just confessed his love for you! Why did you respond to him like that!"
"What?" Kevin widened in shock as he began to stutter. "B-But, SU said he was just joking-"
"Do those tears scream a joke to you?" Mobius sighed heavily as she shook her head. "If I were SU, I'd be stressed right now with how dense and stupid you are."
Those remarks rendered Kevin speechless as he could only stare vacantly to the ground with unbelievable feelings inside him.
"SU… loved me? As more than a friend? Is that what you said?"
"So, you finally realized it, huh?" Mobius started to massage her temple as if she got the worst headache. Kevin slowly stared at her with desperation as he began to feel so much guilt.
"Since when did he feel like this toward me?"
"I don't know. Maybe since you became close friends with each other? Or maybe even earlier than that. Maybe after he saw your eyes for the first time, he started to fall in love with you. Who knows." Mobius merely shrugged as she finally turned her back on Kevin.
"At least, everybody in class already knew about this. Well, except for you, sadly. SU made many attempts to show his feelings for you. And you are just too dense to realize it."
Those words feel like a stab in his heart as Kevin could only drown in guilt in between those silence. Those tired fuchsia eyes. Those painful smiles. Those heart-wrenching cries.
He began to understand now.
However, it's just too late for him to realize all of it.
Kevin began to clench his fist tightly as he gritted his teeth in rage. He feels so stupid. He began to feel so much hatred for himself. Because he failed to understand the one person he cherished the most in this world, his own best friend.
"Damn it!"
His curses echoed inside the Basketball court as Mobius merely became the silent spectator of how the Kaslana began to kneel in his regret.

"SU, what happened? Why are you crying, My Friend?"
Eden looked so worried seeing how her gray-haired friend suddenly entered the class with swollen eyes. SU shook his head as he tried his hardest to force a smile and quickly wiped his tears.
"I… I'm okay, Eden. Don't worry…" his cracked voice failed him as Eden seemed to understand what just happened to her classmate.
"Kalpas, could you just beat Kevin up for me!?"
Elysia clenched her fist as she looked rather pissed. She makes sure SU doesn't hear her voice as Eden quickly takes the gray-haired male away from the class. The masked male frowned as he leaned against his seat, crossing his arms in amusement.
"Why are you suddenly asking me this? He is your leader."
"He made SU cry! I won't forgive him for this!" Elysia covered her face as she pouted a little, feeling annoyed as well as desperate. "Maybe after he receives your beating, he can finally understand SU's feeling toward him."
"Hahaha! You are insane." Kalpas merely smirked as he finally got up from his chair. "I don't give a shit about your whole drama with him and SU but if it means I can beat the shit out of him, then count me in."
"Kyaa~ I know I can count on you, Kalpas." Elysia grinned evilly as she whispered to her silver-haired classmate. "And please, avoid punching his face. Kevin is our leader in the student council. I don't want you to ruin his handsome face. He is our icon to recruit new members."
"Tch. I can't promise you that. Once I beat him, I will go all out."
"I hope you are joking about that, Kalpas." Elysia shook her head as her eyes followed Kalpas who began to walk out from the class.
"And please after you beat him, just tell him about SU's feeling toward him. I'm counting on you~ Good luck, Kalpas~"
Unfortunately, five minutes later.
Elysia could only watch in shock as he saw Kalpas already back to the class with the biggest bruises on his face. His mask is cracking and Elysia could only widen her eyes in shock as the silvered-haired male sat in the class with a blank stare.
"K-Kalpas, what happened!?" Elysia stuttered.
"I lost." He said shortly. "Never asked me to beat that motherfucker again."
"W-What!?" The pink-haired girl's jaw dropped. Kalpas went silent for a moment. His mind seems blank. He didn't say anything else as if he just discovered the true purpose of his life.
Elysia could only watch in horror as she wondered what the hell happened between Kalpas and Kevin to make the masked male silent like this. And those biggest bruises on his face looked so stupid too. The vice leader girl feels bad about it.
"What did you do too Kevin to make him give you bruises like this?" She asked, curious. The masked male finally sighed heavily as he turned to Elysia.
"I just provoked him. Saying that SU is so stupid. He was mad and suddenly punched my face before I could punch him. It hurts like hell, Damn it."
"What the? I didn't ask you to provoke him!"
Elysia shook her head in irony as she finally accepted her defeat.
"Kalpas, you are so dumb…"

Back to the present.
It's his fault that SU recently avoided him. His best friend's just ignored him whenever he saw him. Kevin couldn't take this anymore as he hated it when SU seemed to want to run away from him. They need to solve their problem or their relationship will be getting worse than this.
Kevin wanted to apologize to him as well as give his proper answer to SU's genuine feelings.
Granted that fate seems to hear his prayer as the sky suddenly rains today. SU forgot to bring the umbrella with him as he could only sigh while waiting for the rain to stop so he could go back to his dorm.
The gray-haired male turned his attention to his wristwatch. It's already five PM. The sky is getting darker soon. He sighed heavily as he didn't want to wait inside the library anymore.
Should he just ignore the rain and run straight to his dorm and then quickly take a bath later on? He will probably catch a cold for that but SU didn't want to wait in the school anymore as he has an uneasy feeling about waiting there alone.
As he hugged his bag tightly and prepared to run, someone suddenly opened an umbrella on top of his head. His fuchsia eyes widened in surprise as those azure eyes stared at him softly.
"K-Kevin?"
"Umm… hi."
Silent.
It feels so awkward.
It's been a week they haven't talked to each other. Kevin couldn't even talk to SU if his best friend was always run away from him. The gray-haired male seemed to be nervous as he couldn't avoid him in this kind of situation.
"Since I brought the umbrella with me, let me walk you home." Offered Kevin as he stood close to SU to protect him from the rain. SU merely sighed as he couldn't reject that offer either.
"Fine. Let's go back to the dorm together."
They slowly walked together in silence as the cold wind slashed their whole body. SU gripped his bag tightly to make himself warm. As Kevin began to realize how SU still looked shuddered in the cold, he quickly took out his jacket and engulfed his back with it, making his best friend widen in shock.
"K-Kevin, you didn't need to do this-"
"You were shuddering. I know you can't tolerate cold weather like this. Just use that jacket. I'm fine."
Kevin insisted. His azure eyes give such a piercing gaze that SU won't dare to reject him. He silently sulked as he turned his eyes from Kevin, unaware of how his face slowly turned a bit red. His best friend will always be like this. Typical Kaslana with his hero complex. That protective behavior. His endless kindness and eternal warmth.
It makes SU hate Kevin.
He hated him so much because of all of those things…
… Made SU even more fall in love with his best friend.
"I suggest you stop doing this to me." A cold statement. Both of them stopped their steps as Kevin widened his eyes in shock. He couldn't believe SU speaking to him like that.
"What are you saying, SU?"
"Just stop it. All of this. This kindness. Your attention. Your care. Everything. Just stop it!" Their umbrella suddenly was thrown aside as Kevin quickly yanked SU's collars tightly. Those azure eyes stare at him sharply as if there is a wave of anger burning his whole body right now.
"Why did you act like this, SU!? What did I do wrong!? I just want to fix our relationship! Are you still angry with me-"
"No! It's not you! It's me! It's all my fault!"
"SU…"
Kevin seemed to be speechless as SU just shouted at him. Both of them were drenched in rain. The gray-haired male began to grit his teeth tightly as all of his tears finally fell from his eyes, becoming one with those thousand droplets of rain on his face.
"It's… my fault. It's my fault to harbor this kind of feeling toward you! I don't want to keep hoping for an invisible dream of having you always be by my side. That's why I… I want you to stop doing all this to me. I love you too much and this hopeless wish... is hurting me..."
The roar of thunder shattered their silence as painful sobs escaped from his throat. SU couldn't hold his own emotion anymore. He just loved Kevin too much, those feelings began to gnaw his fragile heart, creating a deep painful wound inside.
"I'm sorry… I shouldn't say all these things to you. Just forget about this. I won't bother you anymore." SU muttered weakly as he tried to wipe his messed-up face. He took his drenched bag as he slowly walked away from Kevin.
He didn't realize how his best friend already clenched his fist so tightly as he stared at the ground with undefined emotion inside him.
"And you just walked away like that before I gave my answer to you…"
"... Are you that afraid of me, SU?"
Those fuchsia eyes widened in hesitation as Kevin's cold voice stabbed his ears. Before he knew it, the white-haired Kaslana grabbed his arm as he pulled his body against him, pressed their lips together in a desperate kiss. SU gasped as his heart felt like it was exploding to pieces. The rain keeps stabbing their existence, drenched them both with its endless droplets.
That kiss felt unbelievable as SU still couldn't believe what just happened. He is afraid that he began to hallucinate things. He is afraid that maybe, he is becoming crazy because he is just too in love with his best friend.
However, those beautiful azure eyes froze his mind, silencing all the doubts and thoughts that invaded him right now.
They finally parted as SU's whole body began to shudder greatly. His eyes widened as he couldn't hold all his tears again.
"I'm sorry I didn't realize all of your feelings for me before. I just wanted you to know that I'll always be with you from now on. Because… I love you too, SU."
"K-Kevin…" SU could only cover his mouth as he began to sob heavily. He finally landed his face on Kevin's chest like the one person he loved the most began to wrap his arms around him, holding him so tightly inside his embrace. They didn't care if they still stood in the middle of heavy rain that time.
Because for them, the time seemed to have stopped as they've isolated themself in their world as the sky is crying their rain of happiness with how the sun and the moon finally become one in their love.

"So, these two idiots are finally together, huh?"
Mobius just leaned against the wall of the school as she stared at the two males from afar. She could see how they were still hugging each other in the middle of the rain. Elysia merely smiles as she stands beside Mobius with a glimpse of happiness in her eyes.
"They just looked so good together as if they've been born in this world just to be with each other in the end. I swear somewhere in other universes, their alternative counterparts will be together like those two."
Mobius smirked deviously as she shook her head.
"Well, I hope in another world, their Kevins won't be as dense as our Kevin then. It will give all of us a headache just to make them realize their feelings for one another." Elysia began to laugh as she shook her head in amusement.
"Well, you never know how their life will be in another universe. Maybe, Kevin will be born as a hot general in the military or something and have SU as his sweet subordinate and then they slowly fall in love with each other? Or maybe SU will live as a Worldwide Idol who falls in love with an ordinary office worker Kevin? Ah, we will never know…"
Elysia smiled widely as she could only stare up to the sky.
"... But I always pray, in every kind of universe they live in, I hope… they will be together… always."
