Summary
His father will always be with him. Whether it be in the water that he drinks or the blood that courses through his veins or that look on his enemies' face as he tears them apart with Ares' red staining his sight like blood. His father always has his hand on his shoulder, never making his decisions, never intervening with his plans. Only there to save him if (when, inevitably when) he goes too far. It's lovely, to know he has someone to soothe him, to adore him, to hold him even when he's a monster.
Then again. He expected nothing less from the Father of Monsters. Poseidon has far more monstrous children than him in the end, he supposes. He is just another beast born of poison and sea foam. Maybe that's why Aphrodite likes him so much. They're not so different in that way.
The Olympians are his family. His blood is rushing through his veins crimson red, but he was born with an idea of gold splattering across the ground, gold spilling through his fingers. He was born with gods to his mind.
