It had been a week since the Casita had been restored. The Magic was back, the family was restored. It was a “normal” for mail now, they treaded “everyone” the same. They were trying to be better.
It was a new start.
It was after breakfast was when Casita had seen enough. They said they would be better, but they weren’t being better, they treated her the same. Casita had a plan to help.
Casita had flattened the tiles to the house and had started moving everyone downstairs to a secret room.
“Casita what are you doing?”
“Ahhh!”
“Help!”
Casita had brought them to a room. Nobody had ever seen this room, so everyone was surprised when Casita brought The family there.
It was a white room no decorations, nothing was on the walls, besides the huge black screen that was displayed on the opposite side in the room. There was also a long wooden table with red cloth, there were variety’s of snacks and beverages aligned on on the red cloth, there was a wooden bench painted gold, and 12 mini black couches with cup holders a small white remote and blue butterflies on the side of the couch.
“Where are we?” Antonio questioned looking around the room.
“I have no clue.”
“I didn’t even know this room existed.” Camilo told his younger brother.
“Did we build this place? I don’t remember building this room.” Pepa pointed out.
“No, we definitely didn’t.” Julieta replied.
“I would have remembered this place.” Julieta added.
“Casita let us out!” Abuela demanded.
Alma was surprised when Casita didn’t listen to her.
Mirabel and Alma were the two people Casita always listen to the most.
The screen then suddenly revealed a seating chart with there names on it.

“We should probably sit down.” Bruno said pointing at what the tv showed.
“Yeah I guess.”
“Fine.”
“Ugh.”
When everyone sat down in their correct seats, a voice appeared and started reading some words on the screen.
You each have a remote on the side of your chair, you may pause or get up at any moment during the following scenes and songs.
You sadly cannot leave the room. Enjoy!
Everyone looked at the back of the room as they heard the door disappearing, leaving just a wall.
Encanto
“Well, I guess that’s the name of the movie.” Camilo whispered.
“Abre los ojos. Open your eyes.”
-Abuela
Everyone was surprised to see a young mirabel sitting in front of their eyes.
“Is that your mirabel?” Antonio asked since he was the only one who wasn’t sure.
“Yes! It was!” Isabela answered for her sister.
“This is where are magic comes from?”
-Young Mirabel.
Suddenly the movie stopped. Everyone had turned to Camilo who had been the one to pause the movie.
“Is anyone else confused why the movie started so long ago?”
“Yes.” Mirabel quickly replied.
“And why did it start on Mirabel?” Luisa added.
“Well I guess you will find out if you watch the movie won’t you?” Isabela said starting the movie.
“But-“ Camilo said pausing the movie again.
“Just watch the movie Camilo.” Felix told his son pressing play on the movie.
“Fine”
“Mm-hmm.”
This candle holds the Miracle given to our family.”

Everyone had remembered Abuela giving them this speech. Telling them to help there Casita and protect the Encanto.
“How did we get a Miracle?”
-Young Mirabel.
“Long ago when my three babies had just been born your Abuelo Pedro and I were forced to flee our home.”
-Abuela
Everyone frowned at the mention of abuelo Pedro.
“And though many joined us hoping to find a new home we could not escape the dangers and your abuelo was lost.”
-Abuela
Tears had stared to appear in abuela eyes.
“But in our darkest moment we were giving a Miracle the candle became a magical flame that could never go outside it blessed us with a refuge in which to live a place of wonder.”
“An encanto!”
-young Mirabel
“Look how cute you were!” Julieta randomly said.
Mirabel looked back at her parents who were obsessing over her as a child, and rolled her eyes her mom.
“*scoff*” Julieta said sighing at her daughter.
“An encanto. The miracle grew and our home, our casita itself, came alive to shelter us. When my children came of age the miracle blessed each with a magic gift to help us and when there children came of age,”
“They got magic too!”
-Young Mirabel interrupted.
Everyone laughed at her sweetly.
“That’s right! and together our family’s gifts have made our new home a paradise!
Tonight this candle will give you your gift mi vida. Strengthen our community. Strengthen our home. Make your family proud!”
-Abuela
“Make my family proud”
-Younger Mirabel repeated.
“Yes yes casita we’re going!”
“What do you think my gift will be?”
-Young Mirabel
All the grins ( besides Mirabels ) were wiped of there faces. Everyone knew this speech everyone had it, and everyone had the same questions, but Mirabel saying it was sad compared to the rest since they all knew she never got a gift.
Bruno put a hand on his sobrina knee attempting to show comfort. Mirabel thought it was nice it was just a little bit weird.
“You are a wonder, Mirabel Madrigal. Whatever gift awaits will be just as special as you!”
-Abuela
“Okay then.” Isabela said pausing the movie.
“That was weird. Wait please say this isn’t about me!” Mirabel replied hoping it wasn’t about her.
“Let’s keep watching.” Camilo said laughing at what Mirabel had said.
