Foolish was chilling on the couch watching tv and eating chips.
He didn't have anything planned for today and he couldn't think of anything to fill his time with so he was mostly wandering around the house and eating all day.
He was messing with the edges of the chip bag when he heard a faint noise from outside. Curiosity got the better of him so he got up and went outside but there was nothing there.
He went back inside and sat back down but as soon as he did he heard the noise again but it was louder.
Once again he got up and went outside. This time, however, a tiny black and white cat was at his feet.
He gasped and immediately scooped up the kitten and brought him inside.
He sat the cat on the counter.
The poor thing was extremely dirty and shaking badly.
"Aw, you poor thing. Let's get you cleaned up, yeah?"
Foolish grabbed a kitchens rag, wrapped the kitten up with it, and brought it over to the kitchen sink.
He turned the sink water on and made sure it was warm.
He cleaned the kitten off and wrapped him in another kitchen rag and sat down on the couch to dry him off.
The cat's fur was fluffy now considering how it used to look.
"Hey, Foosh. Whatcha doing?" Ponk entered the room causing Foolish to jump.
"Oh, hey Ponk!"
"Heh, sorry babe, I didn't mean to scare you- Is that a kitten?!" Ponk noticed the cat as he got closer to the couch. He sat down beside Foolish and started scratching the cat's head.
"Y- you didn't scare me! And yeah! I found him outside."
Foolish handed the kitten over to Ponk so he could see him. "He's so adorable!"
They took turns holding the cat for a little bit before they realized the cat was pretty tired.
They found a cardboard box, put a heating pad in it, and put a blanket over it. They then the cat in the box. They watched the cat until he eventually fell asleep.
"Can we keep him? Please?" Foolish followed the other into the kitchen.
"I don't know, Foosh..." Ponk got himself a water bottle.
"Please!"
Ponk sighed, "You'll have to ask Sam when he gets home with the kids."
"Ok..."
Foolish went back to wandering around the house like before but this time he would stop what he was doing now and again to check on the kitten.
While walking around the house and cleaning up a little bit he thought of some cat names. They were all pretty basic but he liked them.
It seemed like forever but Sam eventually walked through the front door, the kids following after him.
Foolish walked into the living room, the kitten in his hands.
"Hi, Daddy!" Jr ran up to Foolish. The ex-God quickly moved the cat to one arm and picked up his son with the other.
"Hey, baby. How was the park?"
"It was a lot of fun!"
Finley went up to her father but stopped, seeing the cat he was holding.
"Kitty!" Fin ran up to her father, reaching out to the cat.
"Mhm!" Foolish kneeled to Fin, setting Jr down, and let them pet the cat.
"Where'd you get a cat?" Sam walked over to the three.
Foolish stood up, "I found him outside this morning. Can we keep him? Please!"
"Foosh-"
"Please! His name is Milo and I'll water him and feed him and give him lots of sun-"
"Foosh!" Sam caught Foolish's attention before he could go on anymore. "Yes, we can keep him."
"Yes!"
