    Right…because this wasn’t real. This was in her mind. Violet knew they weren’t real, just fragments of her imagination. Which meant denial was no use. They knew because she knew everything. And now, she had to face them, face every of her sick feelings, sick desires she could never tell anyone. She heard Detective Dupin say:

    « Well, Miss Violet Baudelaire. It had been proven that you were not properly serviced by… well no one, actually. The court had allowed you to seek compensation. So…who should be punished for this hideous crime ? »

    Violet’s eyes were still closed. She could feel the eyes of all Olafs on her: Stephano, Captain Sham, Shirley, Coach Genghis, Gunther... Her body wasn’t fully satisfied. The warm water was pouring over her body when she replied in a whisper : « All of you. »
