Lip looked at his brother - really looked at him.
The fluttering eyelids, the sheen of sweat, the ecstasy that engulfed him.
He knew that look all too well - they’d all seen it countless times on their parent’s faces. But the way it sat on Ian’s face made him feel sick.
“Are you high right now?”
“Fuck you, Lip.”
__________________Lip is hit with new information that his brother is on a path towards self-destruction. He is hit with dilemma after dilemma as he tries to come to terms with his Ian’s addiction, and take charge of his family’s chaotic life.
But no matter how much Lip swore that he had wanted a problem to solve, to feel involved in his family’s life again; it turned out to be far from what he had ever wished for.
