Prompt: "One more word from you and I’ll set you on fire.”

...

Yamato wanted to strangle the other boy. This was all Hibiki's fault and he wasn't even awake for Yamato to snap at. Hibiki was unconscious on the snowy ground in front of him. Hibiki shivered with cold as he was in only in a white short-sleeved undershirt that barely was able to stay on his form and jeans. His signature jacket lay in shreds a few feet away from them.

Deep gashes ran from right shoulder to left hip. Hibiki had jumped in front of him putting himself between Yamato and a demon. Yamato had watched as his friend, his only friend, put himself in danger.

Of course, he had immediately dispatched the demon. Anger had fueled his magic making it stronger than before. Healing magic wasn't his strongest suit. That was why they had specific agents for that such as Yanagiya. However, if this was what Hibiki was going to pull he would ensure that she made him up to par with her own skills. He could at least stabilize Hibiki until he could get them off of the mountain.

"Ya... Yamato?" Came a slurred question as hazy blue eyes blinked up at him, "What happened?"

Yamato replied coldly trying to not show his anger, "You decided to step between myself and a demon attack. Now stay still so I can stabilize you and we can take the Terminal back to JP's."

Hibiki still not 100% with him asked, "You're not injured right?"

"Worry about yourself for once, Kuze," he retorted harshly.

It was so harsh that it made the other flinch almost imperceptibly. That gave him pause. Hibiki never flinched around him even during their first time saving the world. No matter how harsh he was or what words were thrown at him.

Yamato thought back to the fact that Hibiki arrived at JP's late one night. If he remembered correctly it wasn't even two weeks after he graduated from high school. There was more to this and Yamato would find out. First, however, he needed to heal these wounds.

Under his breath, he began the chant for Diarama. A moment later his magic dark blue in color surrounded the injuries. Blood no longer poured from them though the snow weak dyed a deep crimson. Hibiki hissed in pain but stayed still as the magic finished its job.

Then he turned to grin cheekily at Yamato as he said, "It'll all work out."

Yamato ground out, "One more word from you and I’ll set you on fire.”

Hibiki laughed, "You wouldn't do that to me."

A small smile twitched at Yamato's lips as he sent a small electric shock. It caused the other to grin but it only lasted a few seconds before his eyes rolled up into his head. Once Yamato's magic had finished its job he picked up Hibiki and headed for the terminal.
