Sonic looked down at his drawing. He had attempted to draw Shadow. Attempt was an excellent way of putting it. Unfortunately, his attempt was horrible, at least, in his opinion. There was no way he would show it to him. He ripped the page out and threw it in the trash.
Shadow waited until Sonic had left the room to check the trash. What was so nasty looking it had to be thrown away? He uncrumpled the paper; it didn't look awful at all. It was amazing! "Why did he throw it out?" He got up and headed towards the shared bedroom. "Sonic?"
The blue hedgehog looked up from his phone, seeing the drawing. "Oh, that thing."
Shadow sat down next to him. "I think it looks beautiful."
Sonic rolled his eyes. "I don't think it does."
The agent scooted closer. "Why?"
Sonic sighed. "It doesn't live up to how much I genuinely care about you." He felt Shadow hug him. "I guess if you like how I draw you, I can learn to love it too."
