Chapter Text

You like to hang out in this old pizzaplex. Half of it is burned but you still find it pretty dope. You first discovered it because your friends has been bothering you about doing some urbex...the trend was now done, nobody cared about it anymore. Except you.

You like having such a big place all for yourself, with so many slides and games. You felt like you could be yourself here. Nobody were looking, you didn't have to be big or responsable. You could stay all night, no one was waiting home.

You finished your 4th drawing when something catched your eyes 

There was something sparkling in the corner.

Glitter ? It seemed like a plate. You started to blow away the glitter dust, making you sneeze very loudly at the same time.

Hoping that it wouldn't alert any weird wanderer of the night around here 

Still no noises from the outside

But it seemed that your reaction has triggered some music in the pizza Plex.

It was coming from the plate....And the plate was actually a face ? With rays ?

"Hi new friend, it's been so long ! Oof I'm dirty dirty dirty, I probably dozed off while playing ! Ahah"

And they were definitely talking. Their voice was unlike any you have heard, they seemed to be one of the burned animatronic, you would have though their face were going to be way more burned but it seemed pretty fine. They did look like they missed some some scraps of metal.

You still felt very little, and all of this stimulation really didn't help you...It was a robot...but they were also a stranger..you didn't know how they would react..Do they even know

"Oh new friend ! Oh no no you can't be shaking like that new friend that's no good. What's the matter little one ?"

- I'm...scared...who are you...why are you weird..I'm scawed"

- Ssh it's okay. I'm Sun! Look !"

He followed his sentence by making slightly move his head, the rays going in the opposite direction making a little cranky sound, probably from the rust.

But you couldn't keep a little giggle to how dumb his little gestures looked.

"Like the SUN!!

- Yes exactly little one!!! Well done you're very clever you know that ?

- Of course !!! I'm so clever I found the sun!!

- That's right baby ahah you found me ! Thank you so so much ! You deserve a big hug for that! You want one ?

You took one look at the mechanical arms 

- Eeh no thank you your arms are too scary and jiggly !

- It's okay baby! Can I headpat you?

- Yes!!!

His big mechanical hand which were weirdly warm lightly started to ruffle your hair, leaving you with a fluff mess on your head 

Hihi it's funny. Like Sunny! Oh you're funny sunny !!!

- What a great nickname !! Nicknames are for super friends !! Are we super friends little one ?

- Hmm yes Sunny you can be my super friend! But you have to keep all of my secrets okay ?!

- Pinky promise super friend !

- Your fingers are funny too! Oh you wanna see my finger paint ! Im very good at it ! Very clever and very artisty 

- You meant that you're an artist baby ?

- Yes yes yes !! You wanna see ?

- Of course I can even get you more paint and glitter if you want sweet one !

You ran to get your paint out of the floor and show off like the artist that Sun said you are. You were so happy until you tripped over some markers left on the floor. 

You didn't had the time to understand that your face were on the floor and already the shock had you on tears.

You felt something warm and big over you, the weight makes you open your eyes to see that Sun was actually covering you with a blanket, smiling at you..trying to comfort you. They weren't annoyed, they were calming.

"It's okay baby you can cry. It must have been so so scary.. Don't worry i scanned all of your body and there's no big boo boo alright ? If I didn't know any better i thought you re so solid you must be a robot too right !!

- 'not a robot 

You muffled still hiding your tears in the soft blanket 

- I know darling I'm just joking you're as human as they come ! And you're perfect just like you are! "

It was becoming harder and harder to make big words and keep your eyes closed ...Sun seems to have noticed your tiredness from all theses emotions...His rays started to play a sweet lullaby..They were also changing their lighting only half of the rays were glowing and they were moving slowly to the lullaby rythme...you tried to challenge yourself to followed them but it had the opposite effect. 

"Let's get you to bed little one, tomorrow will be a new day full of new play !"

You want to argue with that but the animatronic is already carrying you like nothing, bringing you on a bed which seemed to be made for employees but is still pretty comfortable with your new blankie around you.. Your eyes closed themselves but you still find some determination to ask one last thing.

"Zunny..?

-Yes dear ?

- Your hand pleaze..."

No answer, just a soft smile from their round face. You feel the cold on your hand. You smile too.

Waking up in a stranger bed is weird. Waking up in a stranger bed with an Sun animatronic holding your hand is super weird. It's hard to not freak out in that situation. But you don't. You know you're safe with Sun. But Sun still don't know one thing about you.. You feel big and confident, it's maybe not the best first thing to say in the morning but you can't pretend this doesn't matter...

" Sun..you know I'm not a real kid right ? Your programs warn you about that ? I mean I hope it still do after...everything 

- Listen honey , my program help me recognize people and the recommended attitude toward them just how some part of your brains analyze some things mechanically. But I still decide how i want to treat them in the end. And I wanted to treat you like the sweet kid that you are deserve to be treated. I think it's wonderful you can take off some stress that way and we can have a blast of fun right friend ?"

You tear up..there were words that you were waiting to hear for so long and this robot just blurt it out so easily... You just nodded. You couldn't talk 

"Also please don't forget that YOU nicknamed me Sunny..please use it.. I also took advantage of your nap to find you a little special nickname for my little special friend. You wanna hear it ?

You nodded, this time faster.

"Starlight, because you made my wishes true"

Chapter Text

It was one of theses warm night. Too warm. The floor didn't felt as cold as before. You couldn't even wrap yourself in your blanket as usual. The lack of weight on you was uncomfortable, you couldn't keep yourself in place. 
You were completely restless.
In a way you were almost glad that you couldn't find sleep.
The last night has been nothing but nightmares, just like the days.
You felt alone in that desolated place, everything reminds you of ...home...if you still could call it this way. The place you used to live and the people who used to care.
You disappointed them.
Your shirt felt weird.
The fabric was irritating you in a insane way. You could feel every line of tissue sticking to your skin.
It was disgusting
You were disgusting.
As you thought about it, you kept squirming in the dark trying to get off this material jail. Only to feel the summer breeze on your chest. It wasn't better. You alsmot ran out of clothes to wear... Your baggage was a mess.
You were so tired.

There seems to be...another breeze... This one was definitely not coming from the windows. You could swear you also heard some noise, but at this point you wouldn't be shocked if it was hallucination.

Yeah you gone definitely crazy.

You couldn't retain a laugh.

Then another.

Again.

You were laughing again and again more than you ever did. Your tummy hurt.

You cannot feel your jaw anymore. Your legs feels numb.

Your face is wet.

Ah, you're crying.

That explains it.

"You're not allowed to be there"

That comes out of nowhere 

You were petrified with shock.

The raspy voice was scary. But scarier was the beholder.

You raised your head slowly shaking, tears still on your cheek.

In front of you, a plate of rusty metal shaped like two crescents of moon connection into one round shaped face.

Their human like body creeping up on you. Blocking any form of escapes

"You musnt be afraid little one"

You could recognize a faint reassuring voice in his tone.

Watching him closely through your blurry eyes, your mind started to adds up the piece of the puzzle. You finally succeed in opening your trembling mouth.

"Are you.. Sunny friend..?

- Yes little one I guess you could say that. We share a body but we are two mind.. I'm sure you can understand that. I'm here because you didn't respect the rules... Do you know how dangerous is it out there all alone at night?

You have thought this... person?... was gonna be like all of the others. Mean and scary. Angry specially since you did a bad thing. But they weren't.

It wasn't normal.

That's not how it supposed to be.

Your tears came back but not for the same reason at all.

"-I'm a bad kid! I'm sorry! I'm really! I didn't mean to be so bad!! I'm sorry! Please forgive me for crying I'm so sorry. Don't tell to my daddy and mommy please, I don't wanna be punished. They punished me for crying, only bad kids cry!

You just jumped in the wiggly arms of the animatronic. Their shape too similar of your missed beloved friend. You just needed that kind of hug too much, you couldn't care about the consequences.

Surprisingly you felt your hair moves slightly, and some pressure applied to your back. You didn't felt directly the coldness of their hand like you did with Sun. Actually right now you couldn't felt anything, was it the materials who worked differently or just your mind letting you some peace, you didn't cared.

You kept crying agaisnt their chest.

"There, there, little one. You're not a bad kid for crying, crying isn't agaisnt the rules. It's normal to cry, it's a good thing to let out all of that. You're not going to be punished. But you have to know its for your safety that I was looking for you worried. If this "Mommy and Daddy" are danger to your safety, I'll be there."

The words passed right through you. You kept gripping any kind of cloth on the animatronic harder and harder. 

" Now my big kid, it's time for you to sleep. You need rest more than anything.

"- I, no big"

You mumbled making the sound resonate in the metallic structure

" - I know, I know dear but you're my big kid because you're just as brave and courageous than any big kid okay? We watched you for so long, you're doing very good, even if you don't feel like it, never forget that. I don't know much kids who can go as far as you, kudo to you for still being there.

"- But I shouldnt be here.. I should be big and strong but I nooooot... Everbody hates me...

" - You're wrong cutie pie we don't hate you there, and I'm sure theres people who value you lot and lot. You're important to us, to them. You're very important, little one."

The words acted like a peaceful lullaby to soothe your mind. Your eyelid felt heavy and the metal chest felt just as soft as an cloud.

You finally slept.
