The way sweaty, ashen hair has lost some of its usual volume in the summer heat. How his athletic shorts hang low on a narrow waist, exposing the very top of his Adonis belt.

    The boy’s an unhappy housewife’s wet dream like this, Aizawa thinks.

    And that is not a thought he should be having. Not in the slightest.

    Or: Bakugou spends his third-year summer break avoiding his problems by helping Aizawa fix up his new house. Aizawa spends his summer break trying to be a good person.

    He couldn’t call out to Sukuna like he used to. Yuji feared he no longer understood the curse, if he ever truly knew him at all. He’d been too naïve for his own good, but when fear was breaking down the last of his walls, all Yuji could do was shuffle toward the curse, one hand tugging on his clothes, and beg for him to reconsider. 

    “A-Aniki… Don’t go away.”

    As soon as the words slipped out between Yuji’s lips, regret took over at the sight of Sukuna’s face. He honestly didn’t know how the curse would react, expecting to be shoved off again as the more likely outcome than the full-body freeze he was witnessing. 

    The curse’s eyes widened, bewildered by the form of address Yuji had used. It wasn’t like a Yuji could have used his name, and he was still in Fushiguro’s body, which for better or for worse gave him the stature of a teenager… He’d made Sukuna livid, hadn’t he?

    This was how his life was going to end.

     

    ❤ Yuji gets attacked while alone and turned into a child. His memories are all intact, but no one else needs to know that. Especially when the first person to find him is the curse who abandoned him once already.
