Zenitsu POV on Inosuke, the bloody idiot who insists he's not injured.
It's a joint mission, one of their first since the train incident. Zenitsu would had preferred to let Inosuke protect him, instead of him being the one to fail protecting anyone. While beating himself up for it and having to care for Inosuke after the battle, Zenitsu considers how he's never heard Inosuke making a lying sound, even when what the boar-head has to say is so far removed from reality. Maybe that's something to admire?

He had bashed his head against Zenitsu’s right after that to make his point, but what Zenitsu had already been thinking in his gut was, ‘he’s not making a sound like he’s lying, he really must not be crying.’
Inosuke’s sound rang with a kiran-kiran sort of purity, a clean sound that was only possible for one without a tint of a lie in them. Zenitsu had sometimes wondered if his country bumpkin cohorts were even capable of lying, as they both had clean sounds, perhaps a sign of their innocence. Urban virgins, he might call them. Being alone out in the mountains made them untainted by the ills of humankind, compounded upon itself in the city.
It was because Inosuke’s sound was so honest that even on this deep mountain mission as he was pouring blood from his arms, chest, and head, Zenitsu almost found it believable that Inosuke was not injured.
