    "So it is true— we actually managed to catch her?" Tremors perked up, fixing his glasses around his face as he watched Caitlyn return to sit at her desk.

    "Catch who?" Vi asks when Caitlyn’s eyes land on her again, her eyes somber. But Vi should have realized something was wrong when Caitlyn's eyes darted away just as quickly as they had come, her throat clearing almost painfully as she turned and removed Jinx's wanted poster from their search board.

    "It’s true. We caught Jinx earlier today, and the council is sending her to Stillwater later tonight, for obvious reasons." Caitlyn says, and Vi’s heart drops into her stomach.
