Summary
“I-Isha?” She gasps, her name echoing through the room like a gunshot. Jinx feels her hope dissipate like hot smoke from her throat— her voice the bullet that destroys it all. Then, Vi stops cold, and Jinx finds herself being peeled away, and Isha’s gone.
She was never there, and Jinx’s face-to-face with her sister.
“Powder?”

Summary
It always starts the same.
“Go on. I’m ready.” Jinx’s voice is coarse from all the fighting, her words spoken through a cough. It’s always so vivid. Vi reeled her fist back in the gauntlet, Jinx’s hand curling around the other around her throat— all the same as that night.
And then, all the fight leaves her. Jinx shuts her eyes, the heaving of her breathing pushing the blood down from between her lips and her nose.
“I’m glad it’s you,” She says, and Vi doesn’t know why Jinx always says it so hopeful. Like she had been waiting for it. “Had to be you.”
It makes Vi’s breath hitch. It always does.
And then, Jinx’s eyes flutter back open because she’s crazy—
Because she wants to watch Vi as she does it.
And Vi can’t stop looking at her.
Or, where Vi can’t stop dreaming about the last time they fought.

Summary
You know, for all of her pretending, Vi still can’t hide the way her body still trembles slightly in place. Can’t hide the purpling starting on the veins along her hands and neck at the withdrawals. It makes Jinx wonder what she’ll see when she pulls the jacket off.

"Look at me," Jinx commands. Vi makes a noise from the back of her throat, but she listens, pulling her face out of her arm to meet Jinx's eyes.
"It’s been awhile since you’ve had a treat, hasn’t it, puppy?" Jinx purrs, playing the vibrator up the same leg she’s scratched up.
Vi hesitates, but nods— and Jinx can't help but think she looks so good with that gag stuck in her mouth, so embarrassed and submissive... It's kinda sexy, really.

Summary
In all her time being on the run from Piltover's Finest, Jinx has never been caught. Sure, she's had some close calls, but Jinx has always come out on top and relatively unscathed.
Jinx can admit it's made her a little cocky. Sloppy, even.
Maybe she should have expected her record to catch up with her one day.
