Summary
After saving the Encanto, Mirabel desires travel and adventure. Together she and Camilo, with Abuela’s blessing and enough supplies to last them months, are off to see the world with their expectations set on excitement. They never intended to fall in love along the way. When they finally return home they have changed; they have grown. Camilo is happier than he has ever been.
Until Mirabel reveals she is pregnant.
Left with the choice of hiding the truth or abandoning their family just as they had begun to heal, Mirabel decides that losing what they have with each other will be easier than losing everything they have ever known.
