Summary
Everything that had happened in the moments following his separation from Sakura, on that winter night, was dark. He only had to close his eyes to see her face, her wounded expression, her jade eyes full of tears, her body shaken by tremors and sobs, the desperate words she had screamed at him with so much desperation that he had to run away like the coward he knew he wasn't, but seemed to have become in that moment, just for fear that her suffering would mix with his own to the point of making him give in and return to her side.
