Summary
Everything that had happened in the moments following his separation from Sakura, on that winter night, was dark. He only had to close his eyes to see her face, her wounded expression, her jade eyes full of tears, her body shaken by tremors and sobs, the desperate words she had screamed at him with so much desperation that he had to run away like the coward he knew he wasn't, but seemed to have become in that moment, just for fear that her suffering would mix with his own to the point of making him give in and return to her side. And he couldn't afford that. It was all so vivid, so real, as if it had happened only a few days before, a few moments before his eyes opened again. Instead, six years had passed.(...)

I had to bookmark this because I’m honestly so curious about this story… the bond between SasuSakuNaru is so, so amazing to read in here and all the development between them is ugh, sooooo good.
