The mod team and I want to make a announcment. We've all seen the news and read the reports that came out a few days ago. Two members of the stab fandom and subreddit were found dead. They had been killed in self defense after attempting to murder some of the remaining woodsboro murders survivors and their family members. We are dsitraught to hear they suceeded in doing so with many of the victims having been revictimized decades later. We as a subreddit and as a community made out of various forums, chatrooms, discords, whatsapp groups and fan accounts stand by the woodsboro murder victims. We believe that what happened was inhumane, it was disgusting to see those who called themsleves stab fans commit such a heinous crime. Linked below are some of the articles expalinging what the killers claimed where their motives and how to help Woodsboro heal. We've been asked by authorities to stay away from the Prescott and Carpenter family as they need to heal and the stab community effects their healing process. So please, stop contacting the families with condolences and offering money and gifts as it only further traumatizes them as we are apart of the problem. Our community may not have been aware of the killer's plans, but obviously we helped create the enviornment that allowed them to think such a plan was sound of mind and would help stab grow as a franchise positively.
