Summary
Park Jimin, first-born son, an Omega, of Alpha Park Hyun-Soo and Omega Park Mijeong, has lived his whole life, in Heoryong, the principality at the northern tip of the Jeon Empire. The lands to the north of their boarder have always been nomadic lands, free for lone wolves to reside peacefully, but in the last generation an uprising has been forming, threatening their boarders and the integrity of the empire.
The northern-most princedom’s militia fiends off the irregular attacks, but as time passes their adversaries grow in number, uniting together to cut off the passage connecting Heoryong to the rest of the empire, they are in need of help.
Their eldest son, nearing his coming of age, will be betrothed to nobility of another principality, solidifying their union, and giving the northern princedom faith they’ll receive help.
Jimin feels like a pawn, but as the date of his suitors ball is set, the enemy’s front line zeros in on the passage to the south, and the empire leaps into action, offering their eldest Alpha son, to marry Jimin instead.
