“No way…”
Kate mutters the words several times, sighing when Rhonda glared at her, then stormed away. She knows she should want to go home with Val, Earl and Rhonda but she doesn’t. At all. Ever.
Things change slowly, Rhonda comes to her after Val and Earl die, and she is slowly starting to follow Rhonda home, they move step by step, but she knows when they get to Perfection. She wants to be angry, but when she comes home to Rhonda waiting for her with a box of chocolates and some flowers, she gives in.
Rhonda giggles when she pulls her inside, setting the chocolate down and nestling into her when Kate pulls her down into her lap, kissing her neck softly.
“I suppose you win.”
