Summary
Because obviously they did. Karl was sunshine and light, he was unconditional kindness and everything right with the world. He was sugar melting on your tongue, picnics in the sun with watermelon slices and the loves of your life. And Sapnap, Sapnap was the beautiful inbetweens, the fire that could ruin everything but never would, the kind danger that would always keep you safe, hot chocolate warming you as you watched glistening icicles outside. Sapnap was the strong to Karl’s delicacy, and they complimented each other like the moon and sun.
But Quackity was out of place. Quackity was the leftover scraps, the dark and twisted pieces, the cold, black shadows formed by the sun that left people cold. And he knew that, he knew he could never be enough for anybody, let alone Karl and Sapnap. And they knew it too, saw how horribly out of place he was. Quackity knew that their relationship wouldn’t last, that he would do something to mess it up like he always did. And unlike with Karl, his fiances would cut their losses.
