Chapter Text
My friend Bird is a kind girl with hair of wispy strawberry-blonde fire. Most people tend to push away from my bad jokes or act like they’d rather be caught dead than with me. But Bird isn’t like that. Her beautiful blue gaze, forget the sensual blue of the sea, you’d be under the impression she stole all blue in the world only to hold it hostage in her eyes. For I am just colour-blind to all other blue in the world aside from the blue of her.
Her delicate hands which glide over paper so well, drawing worlds unbeknownst to me, smiling like there's only good in this world – she is the good in the world.
What do you do when you are sad, Bird?
Where do you go?
Do you smile when you are breaking like me?
I tell her of the heart on my sleeve, though it’s unnoticed by her, but maybe one day I can show her my real heart? Show you the way I hold a dense forest in my eyes? The way you hold the raging sea? For now, I sit quietly and observe the radiance of you, laughing like your voice is as euphonous as that of the forest in early morning.
