Work Header

Brothers (Three)

Summary:

Peter hopped onto the roof of one of the buildings, and the other spider-man followed suit, taking off his mask once they were next to each other. “You too, huh?” Peter asked, taking his own off when he saw that the other spider was Pete.

“Yeah,” Pete replied, smiling a little. “It’s great to see you again, though, regardless.” He said.

“Same.” Peter smiled and took the other’s hand when offered, shaking it a little before letting go and looking out into the city again.

Notes:

First of all, I want to point out that all the Peters will have different variations of their names because numbering them would confuse the hell out of me. I hope this works for you guys as well.

Also, I worked on this before seeing the new trailer for Multiverse of Madness; I’m excited, so fucking excited…but god, this one-shot is not MoM compliant.

Peter – Raimi-verse
Pete – Webb-verse
Petie – MCU-verse

Work Text:

A sudden shift happened before Peter realized what was happening, and his surroundings changed, spider senses only giving off a soft buzz in response. This shift was not unfamiliar, considering it had happened once before about a year ago. He sighed and removed his mask, looking around a moment. He supposed he wouldn’t be home in time for dinner with MJ like Peter promised, and he was so looking forward to that lasagna she had been talking about.

A small sigh escaped his lips as he put the mask back on and put his arm out in front of him, thwipping out one of his webs and jumping out into the cityscape. He didn’t know where Petie was staying currently, but maybe he would run into him if he was out in the city taking down some villains or petty thieves.

Suddenly his spider-sense gave another soft buzz, and he looked toward the direction it was telling him to look and was greeted with the site of another spider-man flipping through.

“Okay, I guess we should figure out how we got here or if our little brother is the cause.” He said and put his arm out in front of him, ready to cast a web out before suddenly a portal appeared behind them, and Pete turned to face it.

“Looks like our ride is here,” Pete said, and Peter gave the nod before following the other through, seeing a man in robes, not unlike the sorcerer from their last visit. “Uhh, hello.”

Wong stood before them, arms crossed as he looked between the two. “While I don’t like messing around with the multiverse and displacing people, Peter asked nicely if you both could visit, so we allowed it.” The sorcerer hadn’t been happy with Stephen for going through with the spell, and he was lucky that he hadn’t been in this universe when it had been cast; otherwise, he wouldn’t have remembered either.

He couldn’t reverse it since the damage was done, but he could assist Peter in slowly reintroducing himself to people who used to know him. Things like this took time, not to mention that it probably messed with others from their respective universes; it was hard to tell with that kind of spell.

There was no safe way to go about this, but he was doing his best to be careful with things. “Are you both ready?” He asked, earning nods from the two of them. “Good,” Wong replied and turned, leading the two of them into a room where they saw Petie was talking to a couple of older gentlemen.

Petie sat in a chair as he talked happily with Tony and Loki, the two holding each other, Loki resting his head on Stark’s chest and smiling a little. The spider continued till suddenly a soft buzz reached his senses, and he stopped in the middle of what he was saying to look over toward the entrance to see the two other spiders. “Wh- Oh my god!” He jumped out of the chair before making his way over to them and hugging them. “You guys are here!”

Peter smirked a little and ruffled his hair. “I think we’re going to have to work on some line of communication before we think about crossing into each other’s universes again, squirt.” He suggested.

“That’s a pretty good idea.” Pete hummed, pulling away from the hug as the two men who had been sitting earlier made their way over to them.

Tony looked them both over curiously. “So…you two are also Peter Parker.” He said and quirked his brow; this whole multiverse thing was something he never really thought was possible till they had gone messing around with the timeline to fix what Thanos had done.

Peter nodded. “Yes, I’ve been doing this for twenty years now.” He said.

“Ten,” Pete added on as he and Peter put their arms around Petie, the younger smiling as he looked from them to Tony and Loki. “Guys, this is Tony; he’s like a father to me.” He said and moved away from them a moment. “And this guy is Loki, his boyfriend.” He pointed to the god of mischief, who gave a small wave.

“It’s good to meet you both,” Tony said.

“You too, it’s a pleasure.” Peter and Pete replied in unison before sitting down and visiting with them more.

Notes:

My sister: The names are confusing though.
Me: No, numbering them was confusing.

Also, an important note, here. I plan to rewrite the first one shot in this series into a multi-chaptered fic if you guys prefer it that way, lemme know.
