“I don’t think you’re going to poison your own wife, Tom,” Greg says matter-of-factly. But he squinted and leaned closer to his boss, whispering, “Wait, is this— Is this what you’re trying to do?”
“No, you doofus!” Tom barked, snatching the bottle from Greg’s hand. “I would never, EVER, do that to Shiv.”
“Then, what are you so worked up about?”
Tom took a step back and turned away from Greg. “It’s,” he said, almost as quiet as a whisper, “...it’s an aphrodisiac.”
