   Summary

   A tale about Kirk, Spock and McCoy's friendship and loving support of each other despite incredible trials and obstacles. After an injury to Kirk results in a practically mindless personality, both Spock and McCoy struggle with the most challenging personal crisis of their lives. Spock learns to care for Jim and to appreciate this new vulnerable soul. Jim in this world of innocence teaches Spock how to love. And just as Spock welcomes this personality into his heart, a new personality emerges. This creates a dilemma with both Spock and McCoy grappling to accept this harsher version of Kirk despite the fact he is not very likable. It is a story of friendship, loyalty and love.
