Chapter Text

The door to Adrien’s room slams open, and a raggedy, sleep deprived blond walks in. His hair tousled thanks to the helmet he wore during his fencing class, his hands and fingers aching from his piano class (wielding the saber certainly didn’t help either), his throat sore from speaking Chinese for the past hour, and to top it all off, the rest of his body had been bruised to hell and back thanks to the Akuma attack he just came back from fighting (had been, as always Ladybug manages to heal all injuries from Akuma attacks, but sometimes the phantom pains and general exhaustion can be annoying).

Falling onto his bed with a groan, Adrien lets out a relieved sigh. Finally, a chance to relax.

Knock knock knock.

“Adrien? It’s Nathalie.”

Eyebrows furrowing, Adrien considers pretending to be dead so that he can at least get a few minutes of sleep while Nathalie calls the ambulance, but decides against it as Nathalie is CPR certified and would probably try to resuscitate him the entire time. And that is the only reason.

“Come in…” Adrien grumbles weakly. Thankfully the assistant manages to hear that as she opens the door, or maybe she didn’t hear it and just came in anyways, who knows, despite being 17 years old Adrien still does not have any privacy in this house.

“Dinner will be ready in 5 minutes.” Nathalie informs. “Also, your father requests that you show him what you learned for your piano class tonight.”

Adrien resists the urge to wail in despair.

“Alright…” He instead says gloomily, and Nathalie leaves the room. Even though she somewhat cares for Adrien, her loyalties will always be first and foremost to his father. Unlike Gorilla, who would sometimes intentionally slow down the car while driving to give the blond precious extra minutes to sleep.

Speaking of precious minutes, Nathalie did say that dinner will only be ready in 5 minutes, which means 4 and a half minutes can be spent getting some shut eye. It’s not much, but it’ll do…

“Hey Adrien? What happened to all my Camembert?”

This time Adrien wails in despair, burying the top half of his face into a nearby pillow.

“A simple ‘no’ would have been enough but alright.” The familiar, laid back tone of his Kwami responds, unimpressed.

“I can’t take this anymore Plagg.” Adrien groans. “Every weekday it’s just school, fencing, Chinese class, superhero work, and every weekend is modeling, homework, and even more superhero work!” The blond whines.

“Well to be fair, you were the one who wanted to go back to school in the first place.” Plagg retorts.

Adrien lifts his head up to glare at his spoiled Kwami.

“I was going to feel bad about forgetting to order your monthly supply of Camembert, but I’m kind of glad I did now.” He says.

“WHAT?” Plagg exclaims. “ADRIEN! How can you forget to appease me with cheese!!??”

Adrien scoffs. “Because I’ve been so busy recently!”

The blond kicks off of his bed, trudging towards his desktop computer with a timetable assigned as his wallpaper.

“Look!” He starts, pointing at the table, where blocks and blocks of color fill the columns from head to toe.

“What am I looking at?” Plagg asks in confusion.

“My schedule for the week.” Adrien says with a frown. “8 A.M. to 8 P.M. Monday to Friday, classes, tutoring and fencing. Weekends I have to study for the big test coming next week, and from 8 P.M. to 2 A.M I have to patrol the city because Ladybug has some civilian business she can’t get out of, and I have to fill in for her!”

“What about your boyfriend?” Plagg asks. “I’m sure he wouldn’t mind giving you some pampering.”

Adrien sighs.

“He’s busy for some reason.” The blond grumbles as he grumpily flopping back onto his chair.

“Too busy for you?” Plagg asks in slight surprise.

Adrien huffs. “I mean, he still talks to me at school and we hang out, but after school he always rushes off before I can get him to kidnap me.”

“If you have to rely on getting kidnapped to take a break, then you really need to sort out your hectic work schedule.” Plagg says judgmentally before landing on the computer’s mouse. “Now, let’s get me some cheese!”

Adrien sighs. “I don’t have time to get you any cheese right now Plagg, I’ll get you some tomorrow.”

Plagg looks absolutely scandalized.

“But, ordering it tomorrow means that I’ll get my Camembert a whole day later!”

Adrien shrugs, rising from his chair and towards the door for his dinner, and then his impromptu piano performance, and then his patrol.

“I guess you’ll have to live with that, because unless I catch a break, you’re going to have to live with day-late cheese delivery.” Adrien says, walking to the door. But before he exits, he turns back to his Kwami.

“Maybe even later.” He says haughtily before leaving his room and shutting the door behind him.

Inside the room, Plagg sends the closed door a sour look.

“Getting cheese a day late?” Plagg starts, before shuddering in fear. “No, no no no no no no no!” He repeats, looking around the room to check if anyone’s listening in before glaring up at the ceiling.

“You guys better be close to ready soon! Because I swear if I don’t eat any cheese for the next 3 days I’m going to Cataclysm the entire galaxy!” He yells.

The ceiling does not respond.

Night passes, and the morning sun rise, and Adrien goes through the exact same, grueling, torturous, soul-sucking process again. And to make matters worse, his boyfriend isn’t even at school today, completely ruining his chances of sneaking off with him for a private make out session, because God does he really needs one of those soon.

Kicking open the door to his room, the blond immediately flops onto his bed with an exhausted groan. Not even caring how gross and sweaty the clothes he’s currently wearing is because for some reason, the showers at his school broke.

So all in all, today was just going great.

“Adrien!”

Oh and it might just get even better.

Adrien sighs, not bothering to look up from his pillow.

“I told you Plagg.” He mumbles through the pillow sheet. “I’ll get you your Camembert as soon as I can move my arms again, and my legs… And possibly my lungs because I think I’m going to die from fatigue-”

“Shut up!” Plagg interrupts, excitement laced in his tone.

Adrien looks at his Kwami with a frown.

“Excuse me?” He asks.

Plagg just smirks. “Just shut up and stand up! Because I! The O-mazing Plagg! (Short for O.P.) have a surprise for you!”

Well that certainly doesn’t bode well.

Slowly sitting up, Adrien gives his Kwami a suspicious look.

“Did you try ordering Camembert by yourself again?” The blond asks. “Because the last time you did that, you used up way too much of my allowance, my father thought I had a cheese addiction.”

Plagg shakes his head.

“Nope! Although once you see what I have planned for you, you’re going to be so thankful that you’ll give me Camembert for the rest of your life!”

Adrien pinches the bridge of his nose, already anticipating the upcoming headache.

“Okay, what did you do?” He asks.

Plagg smirks wider. “Only the best thing a Kwami can ever do for their Holders.”

Adrien sighs.

That settles it then, Plagg killed someone. Probably all of his teachers considering how much Adrien had been complaining about them for the past week.

God, Adrien’s way too sleep deprived to clean up a murder, he’s so sleep deprived that he can’t even be bothered to panic about it right now.

“Just hurry up and tell me.” Adrien says, because if Plagg did murder someone, best to just get it over with.

Plagg looks even more smug.

“So, you know how you haven’t ordered me my Camembert for this month, right?”

Adrien sighs again. “I forgot to order it, but go on.”

Well!” Plagg flies closer. “To ensure that you never forget again, I enlisted the help of some very close friends of mine to give you a night that you would never forget.”

All of a sudden, Plagg starts choking.

“Plagg?” Adrien asks in surprise. “What’s happening?”

Plagg coughs, and coughs. Adrien’s hand flitter about his Kwami, unsure of what on earth is happening and what he should be doing right now. Until finally, with one last cough, Plagg hacks out a pendant onto Adrien’s hand.

Adrien blinks, staring at the disgusting pile of spit in his hand.

“Plagg…” Adrien begins calmly. “What… is this?”

“A Miraculous present!” Plagg says cheerfully, spittle still leaking from his lips. “It’s a gift that Kwamis give to their Holders to celebrate the strong bond between them!”

Adrien nods, watching the spit on his hands slowly evaporate, leaving a strange pendant on his palms. It actually looks kind of pretty, especially if he beaded it into a necklace.

If only he can forget how gross it was to get this.

“Uh… Thanks Plagg.” Adrien says awkwardly, because you should always thank someone when you receive a gift. “It’s… really pretty.”

Plagg beams. “Isn’t it? And! It has a neat little side feature!”

Adrien looks back up at his Kwami.

“Really?” He asks. “What is it?”

“Squeeze the pendant with your thumb and ring finger on your right hand!” Plagg instructs.

Adrien tilts his head in confusion. “What? Why?”

“C’mon, just do it!” Plagg urges.

Letting out another sigh, the blond looks back down at his Kwagatama, flipping it over to his right hand and holding it up.

What the hell.

Gently placing the pendant in between his thumb and ring finger, Adrien sends one final look at his Kwami.

“It’s going to be fine!” Plagg says with an excited nod. “Do I look like a liar to you?”

Well that doesn’t make things better.

Looking back at the Kwagatama, Adrien sighs one final time…

And squeezes it tight.

The pendant immediately bursts into bright lights, blinding Adrien as he feels the ground starting to shake. All of a sudden the bed he’s on gives way, and he’s falling.

“PLAAAAAAAGG!!!!!!” Adrien screams as he plunges into darkness, tumbling down, and down, and down, and down, falling, and falling, and falling, until the darkness around him slowly brightens up, and now he’s falling through empty white space instead of black.

“-AAAAAAAAGG”

Adrien starts at the sound, that- that sounded like Adrien, but, that voice, isn’t coming from him.

Looking to his right, he expected to see some kind of weird, time-warping abomination that has his voice, but instead, it’s-

Another Adrien?

“WHAT IS HAPPENING!!??” The other Adrien screams, looking at the first Adrien with wide eyes. “THERE’S ANOTHER ME NOW TOO!? PLAGG WHAT’S GOING ON!!??”

“-AAAAAAAAAGG!!!”

What the hell!?

To his left, Adrien sees another version of himself falling alongside them, looking at him and the other Adrien with wide eyes.

“WHAT IS HAPPENING!!??” The new Adrien screams, looking at the first Adrien with wide eyes.

“THAT’S MY LINE, MAKE UP YOUR OWN OTHER ADRIEN!!!” The second Adrien screams.

“TH-THERE ARE MORE OF ME NOW!? PLAGG WHAT’S GOING ON!!??” The third Adrien adds to the cacophony of screams.

BANG!!!

Suddenly, a bright light flashes, nearly searing the eyes out of all the Adrien’s sockets, and the space around the Adriens starts shrinking.

“Wh-What’s going on!?” The first Adrien shouts, wincing as the space gets smaller and smaller.

“I-I have no idea!” The second Adrien says.

“H-Hey! Get your hand out of my face!” The third Adrien yelps. But before anyone could say anything else, the space squeezes impossibly tighter, and tighter, and tighter.

The three Adrien’s faces squished together, skin colliding so hard that it starts to mix. The three Adriens scream in horror as their entire bodies begin to merge into each other, and just before they can try to pull away.

Everyone goes dark.

!!!

Adrien sits up with a gasp, head throbbing with the worst pain imaginable as he grips it tight with both his hands.

“Adrien!”

Groaning in pain, the blond cracks his eyes open, wincing at the bright sunlight before noticing Plagg hovering above him, with a worried expression on his face.

“Plagg…?” He whimpers. “Wh-What’s going on…?”

“Something went wrong!” The Cat Kwami says panickedly. “The teleportation wasn’t supposed to merge all of you guys like that!”

Groaning again, Adrien slowly sits up, looking around at his surroundings.

The sky is bright and blue, puffy clouds floating lazily along it. The sound of the ocean waves reaches his ears, and as he looks down, he notices that he’s sitting on beautiful white sand.

Bright sun, clear ocean, and beautiful white sand?

He definitely isn’t in Paris anymore.

“Plagg…?” Adrien asks slowly. “Where… are we?”

Plagg sniffs.

“I-It was supposed to be an exciting surprise.” The Cat Kwami whimpers. “Right after you squeezed the Kwagatama, you would show up on the beach to finally get some time off.”

Adrien nods slowly. “That’s nice of you Plagg, but… You still haven’t answered my question.”

Plagg winces.

“It was supposed to be a surprise, but…” Plagg sighs. “Remember when you said your boyfriend had been busy the past week?”

The Kwami gestures to the beach around them.

“Well… This is why he was busy.” Plagg explains, weakly doing jazz-hands with his paws.

“Surprise…” He says weakly, looking back at Adrien with a weak smile.

But instead of the surprised look Plagg expected to see on Adrien’s face, what instead graced his gaze was the look of a horrified man.

“I…” Adrien starts quietly, eyes nearly bulging out of his skull.

“I have a boyfriend!?” He asks.

Plagg pales. “Oh… Oh no.”

“Hey guys! I found one of the Adriens!”

Hearing his name (that is weirdly plural for some reason), Adrien turns around.

Only to see three boys running towards him, all wearing nothing but swim trunks and bearing equally excited grins.

(Fanart Done by MelloFellowEllie, follow their work and Tumblr for more! Link in the description)

Adrien feels his face heating up.

“Oh my God.” Adrien thinks to himself. “Did I die and ascend to heaven or something? Why are all these beautiful men running towards me?

One of the boys reached him first, clearly the fastest runner out of the bunch. He has on a pair of floral print swim trunks along with a white beach coat, a floppy hat on his head and an inner tube hanging from one of his arms.

“Hey.” The boy says with a shy smile. “Glad you can make it.”

Adrien blushes more at the smile, feeling so incredibly confused.

Another boy runs up to him, hair tied into a messy bun, this boy has on a rather complicated swim trunks that’s seemingly engraved with Nordic runes and a beach ball under his rather impressively toned, slightly scarred arm. On his right collarbone was a paragraph of words that’s probably a tattoo of some sort, the words slightly too small for Adrien to make out from here. The boy has a pleased grin on his face, but despite that and the carefree demeanor, he still seems to be on high alert.

“Welcome to paradise.” This new boy begins, before frowning suddenly.

“Are you alright? You look a little sick.” He notes.

Adrien definitely feels sick.

The final boy catches up with them. Wearing swim trunks with fish patterns across them, this boy for some reason, has a towel tied around his neck like a cape, and a water gun in his hands.

“Surprise!” This boy shouts excitedly. “Do you love it? Tell me you love it!”

“Julian, hold on.” The boy with the scars interrupts with a frown. “Something isn’t right.”

The boy who is apparently called Julian looks at the other boy in confusion.

“What? What’s wrong?” He asks, turning back to Adrien.

“You’re not feeling sick, are you?” Julian asks worriedly.

“It can be pretty disorienting coming here for the first time.” The boy with the floppy hat says, kneading his shoulder uncomfortably. “It would make sense if you’re feeling a little sick.”

Adrien might actually throw up.

“Uh, guys?” Plagg pipes up, hesitantly floating up to the three boys. Adrien gives him an alarmed look.

Why’s Plagg showing himself to other people!?

“During the journey here, something went… wrong.” Plagg begins hesitantly. “I think that this Adrien you’re talking to… Is not exactly the Adrien you know…”

The silence that follows is palpable.

“Wh-What?” Julian asks with wide eyes before frowning. “What do you mean he isn’t the Adrien we know!?”

“During the journey here… Do you mean the portal?” The boy with the floppy hat asks in horror.

The boy with the scars let loose a growl.

“What did you do Plagg?” The boy says quietly.

Adrien got even more surprised than before. They know his Kwami’s name???

“Calm down Caden, I am afraid that this problem is a little more complex than that.”

Adrien jumps at the unfamiliar voice. Suddenly, three creatures float out of the boys’ various accessories.

Wait a second…

Those are Kwamis! There are three other Kwamis here, a rabbit for one with the floppy hat, a deer for the one with the cape, and a wolf for the one with the scars, whose name is apparently Caden.

The wolf stares at Adrien with a calculating gaze, nose twitching slightly as it inches closer.

“May I approach?” The wolf asks cordially.

Gulping, Adrien nods.

Maybe he did die, how else could he explain the beautiful boys with Kwamis that’s surrounding him right now.

At his nod, the Wolf Kwami floats forward, sniffing at his hair slightly.

“Interesting…” He mutters.

“What? What’s interesting?” Julian asks.

The Wolf Kwami turns to face the three boys.

“There are minute differences with this Adrien’s scent.” The wolf begins. “Normally, human beings possess a single, distinctive scent, regardless of what dimensions they’re in.” He explains before flying back to Adrien.

“Yet, this boy somehow has three different, yet similar scents on him.” The Kwami explains. “It’s faint… almost imperceptibly so, but there’s no doubt about it. This Adrien, is all of your Adriens.”

Silence.

“Uh…” The boy with the floppy hat begins, face pale as a ghost. “What do you mean, he’s all of our Adriens?”

“Hmm…” The Deer Kwami hums as he sits on the top of Julian’s head. “Something must’ve gone wrong during his trip here that caused all Adriens to merge.”

“B-But… That isn’t possible!” The rabbit Kwami shouts, sounding like he’s about to cry. “W-We worked on this dimension for weeks! W-We did every possible way to keep the Adriens safe! A-Are you saying… That it wasn’t enough?” The bunny sniffs.

The Wolf Kwami shakes his head. “No, that is not possible. Short of it being an eldritch being, there is no way anyone, Akuma or not, should’ve been able to break into this dimension.”

“And even if they could.” Caden begins with a scowl. “We would’ve been able to dispose of it.”

Adrien gulps.

“Umm…” He starts, and immediately six pairs of eyes fall onto him. Feeling a little awkward, he pushes on.

“I-I’m sorry, but…” Adrien clears his throat. “Can… Can you tell me where I am?” He asks timidly.

The three boys share a look with each other, before one of them sighs.

“It was supposed to be a surprised from the three of us.” Julian begins to explain remorsefully. “We all know how hard you’ve been working lately, so we decided that we wanted to surprise you with a romantic getaway.”

“It might be a little sudden to hear since you probably don’t remember much.” Caden continues with his arms crossed. “But the three of us are actually your boyfriends, from three different dimensions.”

Adrien blinks.

“I… I have boyfriends from… three different dimensions?” He repeats in complete shock.

The boy with the floppy hat blushes. “We met each other through a dimension hopping Akuma and sort of… Kept in touch.”

“Y’all can thank Yuuki for that!” The Deer Kwami exclaims proudly, gesturing to the Wolf Kwami near Caden’s chest. “He is the one who managed to create a pack link with Blann and I, allowing us to communicate with each other even though we’re actual universes apart.”

“We all worked together to make this place.” The Rabbit Kwami known as Blann begins. “Yuuki created the pocket dimension for us to meet, while Ossi created the beaches, oceans, and pretty much everything else you can see here.”

“Also Blann added magic that allowed this place to adapt to our every need.” Yuuki adds with pride. “You will find everything you would ever want here, be it weather, food, and even natural setting.”

“I wanted a winter holiday, but I was outvoted.” Julian admits with a sheepish grin.

“Again, all of you need some sunlight.” Caden says with a sigh, as if he had to repeat the same sentence many times. “Especially you Bambi, don’t forget our deal.”

Julian pouts. “I think we have more urgent issues to discuss than me staying outside for at least thirty minutes a day.”

As if to quickly divert the subject, the brunet turns back to Adrien.

“Does any of this ring any bells?” Julian asks worriedly.

Adrien shakes his head.

“T-To be honest, I’m still kind of stuck on the ‘three boyfriends’ part…” Adrien says helplessly, looking at the three boys in front of him.

Adrien’s dating… all three of them…? Three… Perfectly attractive men, who are all wearing swimsuits right now…

He swallows dryly.

“Uh… He’s getting really red.” The boy with the floppy hat (whom he doesn’t even know the name of yet), points out worriedly.

Thanks for bringing that up. What am I supposed to do now?

“It’s a side effect from the merge…” Yuuki says with a frown. “Since this Adrien is a mix of all three Adriens, I’m afraid that his feelings towards you all are still very real.”

Julian frowns, turning back to the Wolf Kwami.

“So… He doesn’t remember us… Yet he still likes all of us?” He summarizes.

Caden sighs. “That seems to be the case.” He mutters, lifting up his shades to stare at Adrien with his-

Oh god, his eyes are different colors???

Caden quickly slaps the shades back on as soon as he notices Adrien’s blush deepens.

“We probably shouldn’t overwhelm him too much…” The boy says gloomily as he stands up.

“I’ll patrol the perimeter with Yuuki to make sure that everything is actually alright.” Caden says, turning to the boy with the floppy hat.

“Can you escort Adrien to his cabin so he can get a bath and a change of clothes?” Caden asks.

The boy nods. “Of course.”

“Wait.” Julian says with a frown. “What about me?”

Caden crosses his arms.

“You’re always welcome to patrol with me.” Caden says. “However, you can be a little overbearing sometimes, and in this state Adrien might not be able to handle your excitement.”

Julian flinches.

Wow.” He says. “You’re really honest, you know that?”

“It’s okay Julian.” The other boy says. “I’ll take care of him.”

Julian lets out a huff.

“Whatever, I’ll be hanging out in the hotel lobby.” He says grumpily, sparring Adrien one last, extremely worried look before turning and walking away.

Watching Julian go, Adrien can’t help but feel a little bad for the boy. I mean, he’s still technically his boyfriend, right? And having your boyfriend forget everything about you definitely isn’t the nicest feeling in the world.

“Don’t worry about him.”

Adrien jumps at Caden’s voice, looking up to see the boy staring down at him through his sunglasses.

“He may act like a brat, but all he wants, all we want, is to keep you safe.” He explains. “He may not like it, but he knows that he’s not the best person to escort you home, and the same goes for me.”

Caden has a forlorn look in his eyes, before turning to look at the other boy.

“You better look after him.” Caden says, the slightest bit of a threat in his tone, but it’s covered up by an extreme amount of trust.

The boy nods. “Definitely.”

Nodding, Caden also spares Adrien one last look, before turning and walking towards the outskirts of the beach, presumably to investigate.

Adrien sighs. This is all so confusing. His head hurts and his heart feels like it’s being pulled in all directions. He can’t believe he’s thinking this, but he would’ve preferred the soul-draining slog of the life he had before falling into this place…

“Are you okay?”

Adrien sighs, looking up at the remaining boy.

“I’m sorry.” The blond says immediately. “I know it must hurt, seeing- seeing me like this…”

The boy shakes his head. “It’s alright. Believe it or not, we’ve been through worse in our own dimension.”

The boy smirks, before quickly frowning again.

“Is it okay…? If I mention what happened in our universe…?” He asks timidly.

Adrien’s heart thumps.

He’s so caring.

“Your face is getting red again.” The boy says with a deepening frown.

Adrien turns away.

“I’m alright!” He whimpers. “I’m fine. Just… I was told that there would be a shower…?”

The boy nods. “Yeah, Ossi gave each of us private cottages near the hotel.”

He reaches a hand down.

“My name’s Evan, by the way.” He says with a small smile. “Evan Mercier.”

Nodding, Adrien reaches up to grab Evan’s hand, letting himself be pulled up onto his feet.

“N-Nice to meet you Evan.” Adrien says timidly.

Lip quirking, Evan lets go of the boy’s hand (Adrien finds himself mourning the loss of contact), turning around and showing Adrien the way to the cottages.

Despite still being slightly disoriented, Adrien had to admit, the place they’re in is beautiful. The sky’s bright and sunny, without a single rain cloud anywhere, the air smells fresh, and there’s a pleasant wind, constantly blowing past them.

“Did you guys really make all of this?” Adrien asks, because the silence was starting to get unbearable.

Evan hums. “It’s more like our Kwamis did. Ossi’s the Kwami of Imagination so making stuff like this is child’s play for him. Blann’s the Kwami of Adaptation, so the area is made to adapt to our every need…”

Evan kicks a rock to the side.

“And Yuuki’s the Kwami of Devotion, the bonds that we share with each other, gave him the strength to create this pocket dimension in the first place.” He finishes with a grin.

The two approach a sidewalk, and the two boys hop on it, wiping their shoes against the tiles.

“Aren’t pocket dimensions a little too… Sci-fi?” Adrien asks. “I mean, are there any rules I should be aware of to avoid some kind of… Cataclysm?”

Evan snorts. “Julian said the same thing, but don’t worry, the three of us made sure that everything here is safe.” He says. “No volcanoes, or even poisonous plants and animals. Even the mountains here have been programmed to break your fall if you ever want to go mountain climbing.”

Adrien nods, taking it all in, before gasping.

“Wait! But my father!” He says. “Wouldn’t he realize that I’m gone?”

Evan smiles and shakes his head.

“It’s alright, time travels much quicker here than in the real world.” He says. “A week’s stay in this place should be around a couple minutes in the real world.”

Adrien’s eyes widened in awe.

“That’s… amazing.” He says.

Evan nods. “Yeah, although Julian says that we should be careful. Something about the movie Inception and having to wake up from this perfect life after too long…”

The two take a turn, and Adrien’s suddenly faced with a rather large gate. After the gate are a bunch of luxury cottages, each possessing a name plate with pictures of each of the boys plated on the mailboxes. After the cottages is a large swimming pool, and after that, at the end of the compound, is a large hotel, with at least 10 floors and a sign that says the restaurant is on the second floor.

“We’re all living here.” Evan says, gesturing to the many cottages.

Adrien nods, looking at the many cottages lined up side by side. Caden’s cottage is the one closest to the road, followed by Evan’s at his side, and finally Julian’s cottage, which is tucked deeper into the row. On the other side are empty cottages with no portraits whatsoever.

“Do you think the place is familiar?” Evan asks. “Ossi and Julian said that they ripped the design off of some horror video game, even though this place doesn’t even look that scary…”

Adrien shrugs. He has no idea which video game this place is supposed to reference, but it still looks really cool.

Still… There’s one thing that’s bothering him.

“Where’s my room?” Adrien asks in confusion, looking for a mailbox with his face on it. Frowning in confusion as he couldn’t find one.

“Ah- That’s- well…”

At Evan’s voice, Adrien turns back to face him.

Only to see the boy’s face erupt with a blush.

“W-Well… You see-” Evan starts stuttering. “We had planned for… our Adriens to stay with… y-y’know-”

Adrien blinks.

They expected their Adriens to stay with…

Oh.

Adrien’s face reddens too as he looks away immediately. Awkwardly clearing his throat.

“I-I think… I should… Take a bath now…” Adrien says.

Evan jumps. “Y-Yeah! Umm… I’ll be heading back to the beach, if you need more help… Just- Gimme a call.” He says, quickly saying his goodbyes before making his way back out of the compound.

Letting out a sigh. Adrien quickly turns back to the unclaimed cottage. Curiously looking around it before finally approaching the door. Knocking a few times, Adrien waits for a response, opening it when he hears nothing.

The cottage room is… big. There’s a large, King sized bed adorned with bright decorations. A flatscreen TV directly across from it, followed by a couch and a coffee table before the room finally leads to the bathroom that for some reason, is only separated by transparent glass so whatever happens in there can be seen from the living room…

That’s… That can’t be it, right…?

Walking towards the bathroom, Adrien quickly presses a couple light switches, watching the place light up with many different lights, in many different colors, before finally, one of the switches manages to turn the bathroom wall opaque, hiding the inside.

Adrien lets out a sigh of relief. At least whoever made this had a sense of privacy.

Eagerly shedding his clothes, the blond enters the bathroom, taking a much needed bath that may have lasted a little longer than normal. But hey, if this place is supposed to cater to your needs, then that means that it would have infinite hot water, right?

Right…?

Quickly exiting the bath, Adrien wraps a towel around his waist, wiping his hair with another towel as he hurriedly exits the shower.

“Hey Plagg!” Adrien shouts. “Would there be unlimited hot water for everyone?”

“Plagg?” Adrien calls out, looking around for his Kwami.

…Who isn’t there?

“Plagg where did you go?” Adrien asks out loud again, once again receiving no response.

“Where did that Cat go now…” Adrien grumbles, sighing as he tosses the hair towel into a nearby basket before grabbing his gross and sweaty clothes from before.

Wait. There has to be clothes here somewhere, right?

Looking around, Adrien quickly locates the closet, swinging it open.

And his mouth falls agape.

There is nothing but swimwear in here!

Many swimming trunks of different designs lined the coat rack, along with a couple beach coats and tank tops. On the top rack are a bunch of silly sun-hats, probably where Evan got his from earlier.

Adrien blushes all the way up to his ears.

Is… Is wearing swimsuits a requirement in this place or something???

Having basically no choice (it was either this or his gross and sweaty outfit from before.), Adrien grabs a white tank top off the rack, looking through the swimsuits, the blond finds a rather amusing swim trunks that has cute orange hamsters on it. Hamsters were always his favorite animal after all.

Quickly putting his outfit on, Adrien takes out the Kwagatama, frowning at it for a second before clasping it around his neck.

Hopefully, somebody can help separate him back into the three boyfriends the people here are supposedly dating soon. It’s strange, Adrien should be feeling a little more suspicious about this right? Yet something about these three strangers makes him feel slightly… at ease. Even if one of them’s kind of scary, the other kind of bratty, and the other kind of shy, Adrien can understand why he would date either of them.

Opening the door to his cottage, Adrien eyes the slowly setting sun. So, night does exist here, that’s a relief. Night time had always been Adrien’s favorite time of day. Hopefully this place will be the same too.

Regardless, he still has some time now, maybe he can try to learn more about what’s going on here by asking one of the three boys, or maybe he should just try to find Plagg and see what that mangy cat has to say for himself.

What should he do?:

  1. Julian said that he’ll be at the Hotel Lobby, I should go check if he’s alright.
  2. Caden said he would be out patrolling? Maybe I can help him out a little.
  3. Evan offered to help me out, maybe I should take him up on the offer.
  4. Where the hell are you Plagg? We need to have a talk.
