Out of a job for the first time in two decades and begrudgingly single, Clint Barton moves back to New York alone. He picks up a new dog, a new best friend, and a successor but Clint has never felt more lost than he does now. After a particularly nasty mission gone wrong, Clint finds himself bleeding out in a dumpster and within an inch of his life, which leads to him calling the only doctor he has in his phone.
After losing his job as Sorcerer Supreme, Stephen Strange is desperately looking for ways to fill the time without breaking the fabric of space in the process. When he gets an out-of-nowhere call from Clint Barton, well-known disaster, he knew he shouldn't have answered but Stephen was always more curious than he was cautious.
