A SURPRISE GIFT (A TOGA X IZAYOI STORY)
“Uhm, like holy shit….” Izayoi covered her mouth slightly when she heard the phone call. Ok. Ok. Ok. Ok. Ok. I got this….
Quickly she looked over at Toga who seems busy watching the latest action film, while she quickly grabbed her package of heels from the door step. Toga looked over at wandering eyes of Izayoi. “Uhmmm……you seems worried…”
Izayoi tutted a little. “No I am not…I am going out with….Ume-san….” Toga covered his face bemusedly. “Huh? That Ume-san…” Toga grinned a little. “I wonder what is she like….”
“Well she is loud….conceptual….think anime character….”
Toga tutted a little. “Does she have a social media account…”
“….Uhmmm….she seems….” Izayoi grinned a little,”Private…and I am her manager, so I am not allowed to diverge….” However hearing the door bell at the distance. Oh shit….that would be….
Alright…alright…stay calm…stay calm…stay calm…
Thankfully it was another delivery man staring at Izayoi indifferently. “Are you Ume-san…” Izayoi sheepishly nodded at him. “Yes…” Quickly she took the box away, which Toga’s eyes widened with surprise.
Wait a minute…..
Izayoi, my girlfriend…doing drag… that seems sus….
Was her best friend….wait…huh?
“Hey Izayoi….no hard feelings babe….Are you that Ume-san….the one you said that you helped her out in managing her social media accounts huh?”
“Yes….” Izayoi sheepishly grinned at him. “I am….it was fun….don’t get mad at me please…”
“Why should I….”
Toga shrugged his shoulders. “Well I know one who dabbled in that, was it my old friend Kirin….he tried that a few times- I think he grew bored out of this thing….”He rubbed his head back and forth. “But a woman doing that art…well it is unusual….”
“I know….” Izayoi heaved in shame. “I should not have lied…and oh I just found out… that I am participating in a contest…I know it is very small…but I am going to make a difference…and I wish…I wish…”
Toga kissed Izayoi by the forehead. “Hey….no worries, we should ride and die together…just let me know what you need and I will help….”
Izayoi laughed a little. For once her burden is lifted from her shoulders. “May I ask your old friend for help for some stuff…” Toga chuckled cheekily. “It would take me some balls to prevent Kirin to not rip my head off…”
“Do you need some ideas…”
Izayoi pondered a little. “Once I can get the email with the brief…. We will figure what to do….” Izayoi busied herself with a cold glass of water. “To be honest I am actually shit scared of what is to come….”
‘I think you can do is to be yourself and have fun..am I right…”
Izayoi grinned a little, indeed a word of comfort sounds good. “That is what Ume would say huh…”
A/N: This one is mega fun, as it was inspired by two queens I am obsessed from Drag Race: Rock M Sakura and Victoria Scone! and we both connected towards Drag race which we both love Lawrence CHANNNNEYYYYYYY a lot, so I enjoy that one 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
