Chapter 1: Prolog

Chapter Text

Angels. Heaven's second most loved creatures.

Heaven. The place where all the good people go. The city of gold. Perfect skys, perfect temperatures, perfect everything.

Humans. Heaven's most loved creature. The most flawed thing in Heaven, or so you are led to believe. Truth is, the big guy doesn’t want you knowing that every day an angel falls. They become tainted. Led astray. Corrupted. Claimed. Or worst of all, they fail their mission.

Each angel has a purpose. Either to fight in the never ending war against demons, or guard a human. If an angel should ever think of a human as they are, flawed, then they are cast out. If a guardian does not protect the human from demons and their sins, they have their wings torn off and are thrown to the demon lords who use them for play.

Now you may be wondering, how do I know this? Well you see, I have lived it. I have seen Heaven’s bias and strict rules. I know the pain and sufferings of the secret world. I have seen the angels cast down. I have heard their pained cries. I know it all.

But how you ask? Well because my dear friends, I myself am what Heaven calls a fallen. An angel who was cast out. Considered a demon. No more than a training tool for the new soldiers. I hope to show you all the cruelty of Heaven and Hell. They are one and the same.

What's my name you ask? Well my name is Zephyr. I am here to tell you the true story of the war that nearly wiped humanity off the face of Earth.
