Summary:
Is it a mirage built of grief and desolation? Or a memorial kept in the Wastes (where every glimpse by those passing through adds to the mythos of who, and why, and tells of magic, and the old wizard who haunts the Wastes)?
... or, perhaps, it is just a moment in time. A moment when the desire to feel the warmth of sunlight directly upon skin, to breathe the arid air without a filter, overcomes the wearer.
