    “This is pure torture,” Anakin accuses as he watches Obi-Wan from across the room. His complaint might have been more convincing if the words hadn’t come out sounding quite so interested—and possibly if he wasn’t sprawled out so lazily in their massive hotel bed, the comforter kicked down by his feet and the sheets pleasantly warmed against his bare skin.

    Well, he’ll have to work with what he has. In his defense, Obi-Wan’s fingers are currently gliding along the line of his own hips as he adjusts the waist of his trousers. If there’s one thing that’s hotter than getting his husband out of his clothes, Anakin had learned long ago, it’s watching him get into them in the first place.

    Or, Anakin watches Obi-Wan get dressed to give a keynote lecture.

    Obi-Wan nearly puts his head in his hands at that. It’s a close call. Instead, he huffs and turns his attention away from Quinlan, eyes drifting automatically to find Anakin again. He’s aware he’s hopelessly exposing himself, but then again, it’s not like Quinlan doesn’t know already, and Anakin isn’t even looking at him, so he’s got nothing to lose.

    The bottle comes to a stop, pointing, again, at Anakin.

    Obi-Wan has nothing to lose. Except his sanity.

    The girl whose turn it is blushes and giggles with her friends before meeting Anakin halfway. He grins as he crawls toward the center of the circle and she flutters her lashes, tilting her head to receive her kiss. What a hussy.

    Anakin dips his head and presses his lips to hers briefly. It lasts entirely too long.
