The whole story is a good moment after another. I love that Joyce is the instigator with a fake relationship situation. I’ve read a lot where it’s Hopper that instigates. So the dynamic swap is truly appreciated. I love Hopper with the compliments and innuendos. He’s got a couple of good ones. My favorite is when they’re getting ready for rehearsal dinner. Joyce gets her outfit and Hopper just goes “hot”. Future me, we better get a man like Hopper. Also it continues with them color coordinating. I love the gag in canon of them matching clothes, so to see it this way is perfect.
