A Polindentury Wedding

Summary:

If you just want to laugh... This is pure crack, ridiculousness. I don't even know what came over me...

Characters are not mine
Song inspired by: Encanto's We don't talk about Bruno

Imagine...

After 75 years of commitment and communication issues, our Himbo and Wallflower finally admit their feelings for one another after being reunited at Whispering Chase Care Home one summer afternoon. In true Polin style, they literally ran into each other with their walkers while coming around the corner on their way to the bingo refreshment table for some lemonade and the rest is history. A wedding is planned.

And in true Bridgerton fashion, chaos ensues...

Notes:

Gifting this to @p0linl0vePA, and @Tea4e because I love them and they listened to my craziness all day yesterday and heard this ridiculous idea ...
And to @britishteacup, & @itwasglorious because I feel like this is an appropriate way to end IS ◀️🤦😜 (I kid, I kid) and I love them!!

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Instrumental version here

{Colin}
"I really need Polin-Dent, yeah, yeah, yeah
I need me some Polin-Dent

Because,
It was our wedding day
(our wedding day)

I was getting ready but my teeth wouldn't stay inside
(No, no teeth to stay inside)

Anthony walked right in, and to my chagrin
(LAUGHTER)

I couldn't get them to stay in
(Please help me my brotherrrrrr)

He ran to get Benedict
(Why was he still laughing?)

Who could help me get them to stick
(Please have the right stuff)

Could he really do it?
I'm not sure but anyway,

I need me some Polin-Dent, yeah yeah yeah
Really need that Polin-Dent,

{Penelope}
Hey, knew something was amiss,
I could feel it stirring
When on earth was my groom coming?
I know he's pretty clumsy, sh, sh, sh
I know commitment can be scary,
But I thought he was finally ready?
Where on earth is that boy?
Where is he?

{Colin}
Six strong hands, and lots of Blend-a-dent
My brothers and I, hit that bullseye
But then those jowls, jumped out my mouth

We really need Polin-Dent, yeah yeah yeah
Nothing but Polin-Polin-Dent!

Pen said that was it, then she burst in
(OH MY)

She was looking very sly, with that knowing look in her eye
(OH NO)

Then out of thin air, she made the Polin-Dent appear
(OH YES)

We really needed that Polin-Polin-Dent, yeah yeah yeah
But now we are finally married!

Notes:

The song did have a ghost writer, my daughter, but she wasn't sure if she wanted to be acknowledged or not but I am going to do it anyhow... @SailasJocelyn
