It started in 2050, when a pirated ship touched down on an early developing world at the edge of the known universe known as Alluvium. It had been classed as a tier 3 world, with primitive technology, tribal wars, and underdeveloped space travel. The ship took at least 6 prisoners from the native dominant species known as Homo-Sapiens and left.
The ship crash-landed on a Sissani planet just over a week later. The crew onboard was found to have been killed long before the ship touched down, bodies found piled at the back of the ship. A task force was released to detain the escapees, however they were ambushed and defeated easily, the Homo-Sapiens having built makeshift weapons and even taking the guns off of the dead to attack the others. Eventually they were overwhelmed, and were fatally shot. The Homo-Sapiens were then known as a terrifying species, with the 6 killing over 100 Sissani troops between them before finally succumbing to their wounds.
Careful study was then taken of Alluvium, which was then classed as a Death World and it was forbidden by the great interspecies council for any ships to come within 50 lightyears of them. Homo-Sapiens, or Humans as they were known for short, became the ‘Death Worlders’ of the universe. Stories of their strength, endurance, and viciousness showcased in their short interaction with the Sissani quickly circulated, and space travellers dreaded ever running into any Alluvian envoy.
Nearly 150 years of non-contact later, a human child was stolen.
2 years after that, the DREAM Tech Corps rose to power on the planet called Myriad.
Another 3 years pass, and the vigilante SHADOW becomes known in Wrey, one of Myriad’s most populated cities.
The year is now 2208.
