It’s an argument that gets nowhere with them and luckily Silco waves a white flag to keep the peace while surrounded by her living room furniture she worked so hard for, “Regardless, I am not proposing this team up to gain your land. I’m doing this to keep the peace because I can’t deal with the bar fights.”
She asks, mainly to get her head straight, “So you just want me to tell them to lay off of you?” It seems simple enough, but she’s trying to consider the domino effect of doing so.
He replies, sheepish sounding, to make her freeze, “That, and I was also hoping we could uh-“
He seems to seek words as she stares at him like she can’t place his face, then says with a crack in the tone, “Date?”
