Summary
Captain Cristobal Rios and his Starship La Sirena are hired by an Arcturian Countess, Jocelyn Anil, and her bodyguard, to be taken to her home planet where she will return to what she calls, the Source. Cris is delighted with the commission, and the significant pay, and also with the empathic healing gifts that the Countess possesses. And, for what it's worth, believes he might be falling in love. When The Countess sees a client at a space port along the way, Rios and the Countess encounter a technology they had never experienced before. Rios makes a call, and they end up picking up friends of the Captain;s, an old Starfleet Admiral, Jean-Luc Picard, his friend Raffi, and Elnor, who happen to be looking into the same matter. Nano-technology used as a bio-weapon and terrorism. One lead, leads to another and the new, and old friends find themselves on a wild ride through the quadrants of Space, crazy asteroid fields and ionic streams, determined to stop a group of inter-stellar villians who wish to destroy innocent lives. Cris and Jocelyn's connection blossoms along the way, but will they be able to keep their relationship once she returns home? Will they even make it there?
