Yuuji loved Sukuna, that fact was well-known in his circle of friends. Even if the tall and burly Prime Alpha was the perfect embodiment of a rebel, having tattoos on his arms and body and terrifying to the core, Yuuji still found him interesting in a romantic way - to the confusion and bafflement of Nobara and Megumi.
Sukuna was one year his senior, and the son of a influential mafia Don - one of the most dangerous in Japan. The Ryoumen clan were the second most powerful old clan in Japan after the Gojos, and Sukuna was the Heir of the empire his clan has built for centuries. They owned a pharmaceutical company (which also dealt with drugs and other shady underworld businesses unknowingly to the public), and they owned the school which Yuuji got a scholarship into - a school that had the children of the wealthy and rich people in Japan.
When Yuuji first met Sukuna in school, it was to Sukuna bullying (or trying to) his now best friend Nobara, who was also given a scholarship. Yuuji, being Yuuji, had stepped in front of her and faced Sukuna head on. The Prime Omega gave Sukuna the dressing down of his life, causing the crowd around to gape in shock and disbelief. But the end of his dressing down, all Sukuna did was chuckle and say,

Yuuji, who had his arms crossed and making his toned biceps to flex and was looking up at Sukuna with a glare that caused his beautiful amber eyes to shine, replied with an unwavering voice, "Itadori Yuuji."
And the rest, they say, is history. Yuuji got popular because of that, and him being a Prime Omega, the black collar around his neck all too telling, made him the love interest of so many Alphas and Betas in school - he even had Omegas swooning over him. His loud, bubbly and caring nature made him the jewel of the school.
Yuuji met his second friend Megumi on the rooftop and never gave the stoic teen space after their first encounter. Megumi sealed their friendship when he stood up for Yuuji against some rich female students in the school, who were spreading rumors around school that the Omega was a slut.
Till today, no one knows where those five girls have ran off to - courtesy of Sukuna who not only ruined their fathers businesses, he made them and their families slaves to the Ryoumen clan.
As the years went by, Yuuji began to notice and see Sukuna in a certain way after the Alpha helped him in his greatest time of need.
Yuuji's grandfather, Wasuke, was greatly ill, and had to be admitted into the hospital. His bill for the surgery and stay throughout his recovery was high and Yuuji had felt hopless then. Then came Sukuna like a Knight in shining armour, comforting Yuuji in the park he was sitted in on his day of misery. Sukuna payed for Wasuke's hospital bill - to the protests of both Itadoris.
"Just let me pay for this, you bullheaded Gaki." Sukuna had sighed out. "As long as you stop overworking yourself and come back to school, I'll gladly pay."
Wasuke was shocked at the revelation that his grandson had missed a week of school because he was working overtime to pay for Wasuke's bill. Begrudgingly, he accepted Sukuna's offer, only for the reason that he wanted Yuuji to concentrate on his studies. He promised Sukuna that he'd repay the Ryoumen family their money once he got well, and Sukuna's lips just twitched at that.
Although they weren't the best of friends, Yuuji and Sukuna began to relate - even though it was little on Sukuna's part. Yuuji added Sukuna to his bento plan, now cooking for Sukuna like he did for Nobara and Megumi. Sukuna found his food and sweets delicious, no matter how simple they were that Sukuna started to pay (after being told by Megumi that he and Nobara give Yuuji some money for him to prepare better bentos for them).
Yuuji didn't know how or when his feelings for Sukuna developed into love, but it did. He found himself blushing under the attention of Sukuna, brightly smiling when the Alpha complimented his cooking or teased him with that deep voice of his. He found himself releasing his sweet honey and vanilla scent whenever Sukuna was in his vicinity. Yuuji found himself jealous whenever Sukuna was surrounded by schoolmates who had sexual and romantic interest in him, and he found himself boiling with irritation whenever Sukuna collected Valentine's chocolates from others.

Sukuna was now in his final year of high school and Yuuji bemoaned the fact that he won't see him again. Annoyed and exasperated, Nobara yelled at him - after slapping the back of his head - that he should confess to Sukuna already and stop behaving like a pining, love sick fool.
Gathering courage, Yuuji made and prepared a small box of chocolates - made with dark chocolate bars; Sukuna's favorite - and when it was lunch break the next day which was valentine's day, he went over to Sukuna's classroom. Others blinked in confusion as a determined Yuuji marched to where Sukuna was situated near an opened window - his gift hidden behind his back.
"Oi, Gaki." Sukuna, who was smoking, greeted. He blinked a little as Yuuji's tensed scent hit his nose and his brows furrowed a little. "What's up?"
Yuuji sucked in much needed air before he blurted out, "Ryoumen senpai, I like you."
Sukuna's eyes went wide a little at that confession.
"I don't know how it happened but I'm in love with you." Yuuji continued. "I like everything about you - from your irritating and annoying attitude of self importance to your caring - albeit subtle - personality. I might not be to your standards or social grade, but I want you to look at me, Ryoumen senpai. Only me and no one else. I love you Senpai, please be my Valentine!" With a bow, Yuuji outstretched his gift towards Sukuna.
It took some seconds for Sukuna to react, and before he could reply, Yuuji pushed his gift into his hand and sprinted out. Sukuna just stared at the open door dumbfounded before looking down at the box in his hand.
Yuuji started avoiding Sukuna after that. Whenever he saw the Alpha, he sprinted the other way, his cheeks up in flames and his heart beating rapidly in his chest. The Omega didn't expect Sukuna to return his feelings, but the radio silence from Sukuna had him sad and down. Sure, he was avoiding Sukuna but the Alpha should have reached out to Yuuji either through a text or something!
Yuuji got his answer on White Day.
Sukuna came into his classroom with a slam of the door during class - surprising everyone. He stepped into the room, a small box wrapped in a pink and orange gift wrapping in hand - his eyes scanning the whole room for someone. Once his eyes settled on Yuuji, he made his way over to the wide eyed teen.
"Oi, Gaki." A narrowed eyed Sukuna called out, his eyes daring the nervous Omega to move.
"Ryoumen san, what are-" The teacher made to protest, but one cold glare from Sukuna had him shutting up instantly.
Sukuna stood in front of Yuuji's desk and he looked down at the Omega. "Why have you been avoiding me, Gaki?"
"Wh- who said I was avoiding you, Ryoumen senpai?" Yuuji stuttered out. Sukuna cocked a bemused brow at him and he bent his head, his fingers worrying his school sweater. "I've just been busy, that's all." He muttered.
Sukuna scoffed at that.
"Is- is there something you need, Ryoumen senpai?"
With a grunt, Sukuna dropped the gift on Yuuji's desk. "Here. For you. Open it."
Yuuji blinked owlishly at the gift before looking up at Sukuna with confused amber eyes. Sukuna gestured at the gift with his eyes and Yuuji hesitantly opened it.
The class watched as the Prime Omega slowly ripped open the wrapping, those sitting close to Yuuji straining their necks to see.
Yuuji's eyes went wide and a gasp left his lips when he saw what was given to him. Chocolate. White chocolates to be precise. The top part of the box, which had a folded paper of sorts tied to it, was transparent and Yuuji could see the beautifully designed chocolates. His head snapped up at Sukuna and he looked at the Prime Alpha in shock and hope.
"Ryoumen senpai?" Yuuji breathed out.
"Read what's on the paper, Gaki." Sukuna grunted out.
Yuuji slowly untied the ribbon and picked up the paper. He picked it up and opened it. Yuuji let out a gasp of shock and whispered under his breath, "It's... a marriage registration form..."
Gasps and mutters rang loud in the room.
Yuuji looked up at Sukuna with teary eyes. "You..." He trailed off, not knowing what to say.
"I like you, Gaki." Sukuna confessed, causing jaws to drop. "From the very moment you promised to deck my jaw if I bothered your friend Kugisaki, I've found you interesting. I don't know how my interest turned into romantic feelings and I really don't fucking care." He shrugged. "I want to make you my wife, Yuuji. Become part of the Ryoumen clan, Gaki. I promise to give you all that you want and ask for. I'll be the Alpha you so need and will cherish you till the moment we die together."
Yuuji let out a loud and wet chuckle, a finger wiping away his tears. "And here I thought you'd reject my feelings for you. I'm really stupid."
Sukuna snorted, burying his hands in his pockets. "That you are, Gaki." He said with an amused smirk.
Yuuji folded the paper and placed it on his table. "Unfortunately, I can't marry you now, Ryoumen senpai.
"Sukuna." The Alpha corrected, getting a soft smile from Yuuji. "And why?"
"I'm still quite young, Ryou- Sukuna san. I want to finish my education first and make my grandfather proud. So..." Yuuji opened the box and grabbed a chocolate. He raised it towards Sukuna, a soft look on his face and his scent heavenly. "Please, wait for me."
Sukuna looked into Yuuji's eyes and when he was met with a determined stare, he closed his eyes and heaved a sigh, his lips tilted in amusement. "If that's your wish, Gaki, so be it." He opens his eyes and leaned down and took a bite of the chocolate. "Once you finish college, we'll get married. It's a Binding Vow between us." He said with the small piece of chocolate in his mouth.
Yuuji beamed in happiness, nodding in agreement. "And a Vow I promise to keep." He popped the chocolate in his mouth.
Without further ado, Sukuna bent down, placing a hand on the edge of Yuuji's desk while the other grabbed his chin and raised the Omega's head up. He pulled Yuuji into a chaste kiss, and the Omega, after some seconds of surprise, returned the kiss happily.
And that was how Sukuna confessed to Yuuji. Even Megumi had to clap at his dramatic confession. Yuuji could be seen glowing bright and bubbly, floating on cloud nine at the fact that Sukuna had confessed to him - him and no one else.
Weeks later, on his birthday, which Sukuna decided to take him out to his favourite amusement park, the Alpha proposed - on his knees and bearing a very expensive ring. Yuuji of course happily accepted, crying like a baby. When Nobara saw the ring on his finger, the Beta short circuited. It didn't take long for the entire school to hear about the engagement.
When Yuuji, with Sukuna, informed a still hospitalised Wasuke about the engagement, all hell broke lose. Sukuna came to respect, and fear, his future father in law. It didn't help matters that Wasuke and his father got along swiftly when the head of the Ryoumen clan was introduced to the old man.
Years passed, and as Yuuji vowed, he got married to Sukuna after he was done with college - just four months after his graduation. Yuuji happily traded his collar for Sukuna's bite mark, happily giving the Alpha his when they consummated their marriage - bonding forever.
