"GET BACK HERE YOU LITTLE SHIT OR YOU'LL BE SORRY"
The crying boy ran as far a he could before he collapsed in a small ally and crying quietly trying to not attract attention.
"t-that BASTARD why won't he just go away"
"who says he wont"
it was then the boy felt a huge headache rush through his head as the world warped around around him taking on a red he cautiously stood up and looked around.
"the station. go to the station"
he felt compelled to listen as he ran towards the station, entering the station the first voice came up from the escalator. it was himself dressed in an princely outfit and with glowing yellow eyes
"it's nice to finally meet you goro."
his voice was reassuring like he was here to rescue him
"who are you?"
the boys face was clearly nervous but felt to scared to run
"ah yes apologies I am your shadow your inner self and your sense of justice i have had a hard time reaching you I was finally able to bring you to place we could talk safely but as for why i brought you here this is mementos the
public unconscious here we can save yourself and all those still in the orphanage however it is dangerous we will have to risk our death to do it do you wish to continue?"
the young man thought to himself contemplating but he had already made his choice
"good then let us form our contract."
I AM THOU THOU ART I LET US PUNISH THOSE WHO HARM THE INNOCENTS AND BRING THOSE HARMED TO A BETTER PLACE NOW SHOUT MY NAME AND LET THE WORLD HEAR OUR RESOLVE
the knight began pulling on the mask on his face and as it was ripped of his face
he shouted
"Yes come forth ROBIN HOOD"
the shadow smiled as he transformed into a buff man wielding a huge golden bow with two pieces of cloth forming a cape on his back and and a huge RH emblazoned on his chest.
"good now let's proceed" akechi thought to himself stepping down the escalator.
as akechi stepped down he sensed his target and made his way along the tracks and found a swirling red portal he took a deep breath and entered the portal ending up in a dead end with the shadow of the middle aged man who was "taking care of him".
"CRIMINAL STOP RIGHT THERE YOUR CRIMES WILL NOT GO UNPUINISHED"
"IS THIS ABOUT THAT UNGRATEFUL LITTLE BRAT HE'S MY PROPERTY I'LL DO WHAT I WANT WITH HIM"
"If that's all you have to lets battle we'll see if i can't change that wicked heart of yours."
the shadow melted into black goo and reformed into an incubus
"COME ON YOU LITTLE SHIT"
incubus lunged forwards with a flurry of quick jabs that akechi could barely dodge
"ROBIN HOOD KOUGA."
two spears of light appeared and homed in on the incubus as they pierced it screamed out in pain dropping to the floor
"Are you ready to give up" akechi snarkily asked.
"FUCK OFF"
"ah well KOUGA"
screaming in pain the incubus melted into black goo and reformed into the shadow
"f-fine I'll leave the kid alone."
it was then a flash of black went over akechis suit and a much more malicious voice rang in his head
"That bastard he thinks that's enough after all the pain he put us through pull the trigger and kill the bastard"
Before akechi realised it he was pointing the model laser pistol he was holding right at the shadows head with a sadistic smile on his face when he realised what he was doing he nearly screamed with disgust. suppresing the thoughts in his head he stated firmly
"not good enough you will help him get emancipated and testify for the abuse in the orphanage you picked him up from understand."
"y-yes."
"good. now get out of my sight"
the shadow disappeared in a flash of light leaving a glowing orb where he stood
"what is this?" akechi asked grabbing it
"the source of his distorted desires. what shall we do with it." robin hood replied
tossing the treasure up in the air akechi stated "robin hood eiga."
the treasure was destroyed in a cloud of darkness
"let's go to the house and pack i should imagine he'll be quite apologetic." robin hood started "we should also bye some food the money he dropped should get us some decent food."
"right" akechi replied as he went to exit mementos

in the months that passed since akechi first entered the metaverse akechi had moved out on his own using mementos to sustain himself until he found an ad for an experiment about cognitive pscience with scholarships offered to those who took part.
akechi entered the room he was assigned separate from most of the other participants only sharing this room with one other person. looking around he saw his roommate had not entered yet so he took the bed on the right side of the room setting down his bag with clothes and his model weapons for the metaverse. laying on the bed until a black haired boy entered the room.
"shirou owada nice to meet you." owada greeted in an unconvincing act to convince akechi he was at all sociable
"goro akechi likewise." akechi replied giving a much more convincing act.
"do you know whi it is just us sharing a room?"
"no we'll have to wait for someone to ask." owada answered seemingly out of energy to keep up his act
owada almost immediately went to sleep leaving akechi to wait for someone to come and check on them. it was a shorter time to when a black haired woman wearing glasses
"Hello I am wakaba isshiki i am here to oversee you" wakaba introduced herself "i have already been given your names so there is no need to introduce yourselves."
"well doc nice to meet ya but why are me and him sharing a room?"owada asked rather groggily
"they didn't tell you?" wakaba asked rather annoyed "its because a lot of your answers where exactly the same and our main backer is convinced at least one of you have access to the cognitive world."
"sounds like bullshit" owada remarked
"well your more than welcome to tell him that he is in the office at the end of the hall." wakaba remarked unimpressed by his outburst
owada smirked and left the room.
that was the last time akechi saw his roommate as time went on he eventually forgot about owada entirely meaning the only person to talk to was wakaba issiki.
