Soulmate Au: When you don’t see colors till you make eye contact with your soulmate + spirit animals au +dream au??
In a world where your world becomes colorful once you’ve made eye contact with your soulmate, Virgil traverses through his life in monochrome colors. Simple black and white, he’s always found a strange sad comfort in it, the colorless world around him wasn’t nearly as bleak as his views on life. He’s perfectly fine without meeting his soulmates, in fact, he’d prefer it if he didn’t. He’s accustomed to his life as is. But of course, life didn’t like him so starting at the age of 15 he began seeing glimpses of five different colored animals: a dark blue owl, a red peacock, a light blue husky, a green raccoon, and a golden snake. Along with that ‘wonderful’ gift, in his dreams, he’s also subjected to a dreamscape where soulmates could interact via their animal body. So, both in his wake and his sleep he’s taunted with the idea of soulmates, no matter what though Virgil is determined to avoid them. He didn’t need soulmates, and they didn’t need him.
