Rocks and gravel dug into Katsuki's shoulders as he was slammed into the ground. He cursed as the wind was knocked out of him, but found the strength to roll over before Deku could land another punch. He kicked back, landing a check on the greenette’s shoulder, allowing him to get back on his feet. It was short lived, though, as Izuku only stumbled back with a small grunt of annoyance before lunging forward again. Katsuki threw another punch but the other boy managed to dodge and latch on to his arm, using the momentum to throw the blonde over his head and into the ground once again. The explosive hero was getting rather sick of being used as a human projectile, growling and cursing as he continued to roll around, avoiding his friend’s attacks.
Almost an hour of knocking each other around, dodging and evading before going in for another blow, and neither Izuku nor Katsuki were ready to call it in, yet. It seems as though another one of their battles would end in a forced stalemate as Aizawa and Toshinori stood to the side. Both mentors with an amused yet tired smile on their faces.
But, when Deku made a lunge at him to try and pin him down, Bakugou waited until he was just close enough , practically on top of him, before using an explosion to propel himself forward and knock Izuku’s legs out from under him. Not the most honorable move he’s ever made, but you couldn’t last in a battle with the Hero Deku without thinking outside the box.
Immediately taking advantage, Katsuki straddled the other hero to hold him down, heating up the hands holding his wrists in warning. Green eyes stared up at him in bewilderment, only struggling slightly before sagging down in defeat. Both of them were panting, sweat soaking through their suits as they tried to catch their breaths.
“Did you just trip me?” the greenette gasped between gulps of air, smirking too, the asshole.
“Fuck off, Deku, before I blow your godamn hands off” Katsuki grunted back sourly. Bitter that he had to resort to cheap tactics just to get the upper hand.
The bastard even had the audacity to throw his head back and laugh. It became a wheeze when the temperamental blonde squeezed his sides with his knees in retaliation.
“Alright, alright, I’m sorry, you win Kacchan you win!”
“Damn right, Deku.” the blonde grinned triumphantly before getting up and extending a hand to his childhood friend. Izuku took his hand gratefully, and if anyone noticed how their fingertips lingered a second longer than they had to, Katsuki would bury them six feet underground.
“Alright love-birds,” Aizawa piped in, “I’d like to get to bed at some point tonight, so hit the showers and get some sleep. We’ll pick this up next week.”
“Yes, Mr. Aizawa,” the two boys bowed politely to their teacher before heading to the locker rooms.
As they entered, Izuku jabbed Katsuki in the ribs, “Try not to cheat next week, you big cheater,” he jibed lightly.
Katsuki only scoffed, a sinuously sneaky smirk creeping up the corners of his mouth.
“That wasn’t cheating, nerd,” curious green eyes met red as the blond snuck a hand around the other male’s waist, “this would be cheating.”
Before the greenette could think to protest he was pulled down into a deceptively sweet kiss. Nearly knocked the breath out of him as his shoulders stiffened at the sudden embrace, before relaxing again. He sighed into the kiss as lips moved softly against one another, bringing his arms up to wrap around broad shoulders.
Although Midoriya had grown to be taller (the bastard) Bakugou was bulkier, kind of like a small tank. Izuku's muscles were more lean and flexible as he adapted a more evasive fighting style. Katsuki had to build a lot of muscle to withstand the blasts from his quirk and his fighting style was more headstrong and forceful because of it. One of the many reasons they were so good together as heroes and partners. Izuku had a good head for strategy and was a tactical fighter, while Katsuki was the big brawn and muscle that could easily blast them out of tough situations.
Even now their bodies fit perfectly as they slotted up against one another in a firm, yet sweet embrace. Izuku smiled into each little peck, as they separated briefly before finding one another once again. He really was a lovesick fool.
Not that Katsuki was any better.
When they regretfully parted for some much needed air, Katsuki was a beautiful tomato red from his cheeks to the tips of his ears. Izuku could only giggle at the endearing sight and lean forward to lightly bump Katsuki’s nose with his own. The blond only stuck out his tongue in retort.
“You’re not very good at cheating, Kacchan, I thought I was supposed to be the one getting flustered.”
The blond huffed, mumbling back, “It’s not my fucking fault you’re such a good goddamn kisser, stupid nerd.” If it was possible, Katsuki’s face flushed even more and was beginning to travel down his neck.
“Hmm,” the other boy hummed, leaning forward and burying his head into the sweaty blond spikes, “I’m sorry.”
A disbelieving scoff was his only reply, he pulled back a little to look up at his boyfriend and gave him a quick peck on his cheek before turning back to his locker to grab his clothes.
When Katsuki bent down to grab his pants, the wheels in Izuku’s head turned and the most devilish grin was prickling at the corners of his mouth. He quickly snuck up behind the unassuming blond and gave his plump ass a loud SMACK!!!
The other boy was so caught off guard he actually lost his balance for a brief second, having to catch himself on the locker door. With a furious glare and smoke emanating from the tips of his fingers he quickly chased after the cackling Hero Deku around the locker room.
“Deku!!! You fucking bastard!!!”
“That’s for cheating, Kacchan!”
