Summary
Joowon hasn’t said much about work this week, which fits a pattern Dongsik has been piecing together. A few late nights, cases Joowon doesn’t want to talk about, and a sudden fit of self-denial in the bedroom. There are bad weeks in their line of work, weeks when nobody wins and you see things broken that won’t be fixed. Dongsik has seen worse ways of coping. So he makes noodles and doesn’t ask about Joowon’s day, and doesn’t comment when Joowon sits closer than usual on the couch.
