Notes:
- Inspired by Safe with me by CirrusGrey
It's a hard thing to reconcile with the fact that memory is fleeting, the knowledge that when we lose someone the memories we have of them will also fade with time. But this fact doesn't mean our time with them didn't happen, or that it will matter less if we forget the details.
This piece explores and deals with that particular facet of grief very tenderly, and I have a lot of feelings about it. Thank you to CirrusGrey for letting me take a shot at recording it!
