2-6-22 Version:
Imagine Family Game night with the Royal Families, and each family is a team. (We're leaving GC out for this until they give us her FUDGING HEIR--)
Dark Cacao has Dark Choco, and Milk Cookie joined because they were short some people and he likes hanging with his boyfriend. They're likely some of the most competitive, but all wins must be honorable to them or they don't count. Pumpkin Pie and Pompon also join this team because Choco essentially adopted her as a sibling/daughter (and Cacao adopted an OC of ours but that's less important).
Pure Vanilla has Black Raisin, Crepe, and Custard, and the two healers have to keep Crepe and Raisin (mostly Crepe, but sometimes Raisin uses her crows to cheat which angers the Cacaoans to no end) from going overboard.
Hollyberry, Tiger Lily, and Princess are all a force to be reckoned with only held back by the fact that Knight and Raspberry refuse to let them play Truth or Dare because none of them would EVER refuse a dare.
And then Dark Enchantress shows up with her minions and they create the White Lily team (the others were all very wary of this until Red Velvet and Pastry assured them that the Enchantress wasn't there to cause havoc or damage) which is the largest with Licorice, Red Velvet, Pomegranate, Pastry, and Shroomie, the last of which doesn't really play and more just hangs.
Oh, and they have game night out in the woods because a, there is no way that they're bringing the cookies of darkness into the kingdom, and b, the Cacaoan/Vanillian family really doesn't want to have to rebuild their house a second time. This is also why Truth or Dare is banned.
It is the most chaotic game night in existence.
And it is amazing.
It's like a little camping outing and Hollyberry STILL doesn't know how to build a tent but Tiger Lily does. They have a little campfire and everything until someone accidentally falls on it or puts it out.
Cacao has to rebuild it several times.
Cacao: Seriously, Holly, you'd think you'd know better.
Holly: Shut it, Cacao, I didn't ask you.
4-1-22 Version
First of all, what games are we lining up?
Board games.
Card games.
Twister with a bunch of ancients would be funny as hell
Yes. XD
Holly convincing herself she's flexible enough but she's the first to fail
Clover: Hand on green.
Cacao: Is this game supposed to be challenging?
Pitaya: I’m confused why you all didn’t want us to play it.
Clover: It’s called reverse psychology. Vanilla, you have to keep a hand on red too.
Vanilla: *nods* Alright, that's a little uncomfortably close to Holly but I'll allow it.
Holly: Yeah, still don’t see how this is hard. Right, Lily? I mean, no one was even gotten hurt yet!
Lily: Yes but that doesn't mean someone isn't going to get hurt. I'm prepared for first aid if someone gets tangled up.
Clover: For this to work we need one more player… Time, you’re in.
Time: Alright, fine. Tell me where to go.
Clover: Foot on green.
Fizz: I have the camera.
Clover: Good.
Time: Great, you're filming for my demise.
Vanilla: It's all in good fun.
Holly: You two need to be faster or we’ll take all the green.
Pitaya: There are five green sssspotsssss. It’sssss fine.
Cacao: grunts How… Okay, I reached it. Barely.
Vanilla: My God, I can already tell someone is going to fall on me..
Time: It'll be fine-
Clover: Foot on Yellow. And no, Aunt Holly, Vanilla and Timekeeper don’t count as yellow so don’t ask.
Holly: Darn it…
Cacao: This is very precarious… Pitaya, your tail is in Vanilla’s face.
Pitaya: Ssssssorry… curls his tail close to him
Vanilla: It's fine, as long as you don't hit me in the face I'll be fine.
Time: I'm trying not to step on anyone's fingers so if I do, apologies.
Clover: Okay… Foot on red.
Cacao: … How?
Clover: That’s the fun of the game! You have to figure it out!
Time: Oh Stars... Can you try and like, swing your leg around?
Vanilla: He will fall over. He is not flexible. None of us are.
Holly: Pitaya move your wing!
Pitaya: It’ssss the only thing keeping me from toppling over!
Time: Oh just fall over then! Lose!
Vanilla: That's not very sportsmanlike.
Time: This is a game of life and death, Vanilla.
Pitaya: But if I fall over, I take out everyone elsssse!
Lily: We might have to move you a little bit. What do you think, Clover?
Clover: … I think hand on yellow.
Time: Why do you have to torture us, sprout?
Clover: You could all just give up.
Cacao: … We play on. I’m not risking my pride for this.
Fizz: snickers What pride? You’re failing a child’s birthday party game!
Time: If I didn't love you so much, I would divorce you.
Vanilla: We are not failing!
Clover: Okay then. Tails—if you have them—on blue.
Pitaya: Now you’re jusssst torturing ussss…
Vanilla: Now you're just targeting people-
Lily: Technically he makes the rules.
Clover: Am I, Uncle Vanilla? Feathered wing on green.
Cacao: For once I am glad I don’t have feathers—
Vanilla: I hate you.
Time: This time I actually agree with you.
Clover: You could surrender… Oh, other feathered wing on Yellow.
Holly: Our bodies are not made to move like this, Clover!
Clover: You should have thought of that before you agreed to a game called TWISTER.
Time: I'm so lucky my son loves me...
Vanilla: Don't push your luck, Time.
Clover: Let’s see… Oh, Draconic wing on green. This’ll be fun.
Pitaya: wobbles and collapses, causing everyone to fall
Vanilla: groans I think you broke my back-
Time: I think he broke my hip-
Starberry: I have a new player, if the current would like to leave the mat.
Cacao: … Give me a second honey… I think I bruised my spleen…
Holly: Twister… is banned… from the house…
Pitaya: Agreed…
Vanilla: I agree... No more Twister or else someone is getting crushed to death.
Time: gets up and cracks back I can't believe you got that on camera...
Clover: You may invite your player onto the mat.
Starberry: pushes Bluebell on
Vanilla: Oh stars... I'm assuming Bluebell saw the carnage and wanted to join.
Bluebell: I was told I’d get ice cream if I did this.
Clover: Just put your tentacles on the dots—
Bluebell: is touching every dot Did I win?
Time: THATS UNFAIR! I QUIT!
Fizz: is laughing hysterically
Cacao: … You all planned this, didn’t you?
Clover: How could you tell?
Vanilla: sighs I'm not doing this ever again...
Clover: Good. We didn’t want you to. The game sucks.
Time: You're grounded, sprout.
Clover: You have to ground Fizz too. It was their idea.
Time: I can't ground them because I'm married to them so they're sleeping on the couch-
Fizz: You know what? I deserve that.
Lace: Told you she’d hate it, Fizz.
You know another really good game? Telephone.
Time: You want to play telephone? That's a horrible idea too.
Vanilla: What's telephone?
Clover: We sit in a circle, have one person start, and they come up with a sentence. They whisper that sentence to the person next to them, and the sentence is whispered around the circle until it gets back to the beginning.
Cacao: That doesn’t sound too bad.
Time: Usually the sentence gets all messed up. We played it once in the office and it went from "I love oranges" to "There's an emergency".
Croissant: walks over That's because there was an emergency but someone whispered it instead of saying it out loud.
Clover: Wasn’t that the time Angel Cake… I forgot what I was going to say.
Cacao: You were talking about Angel Cake?
Clover: Who?
Vanilla: Now I'm just confused...
Lily: Maybe we should just sit down and start the game?
They start out with “I like stars” and end up with “Cacao hates chocolate bars.”
The family are horrible at this and it's mostly down to Lily talking too quietly and Holly mishearing everything
The worst one was “Trains are cool” becoming “Dark Enchantress made out with Vanilla.”
Vanilla was completely confused when that one came out
Vanilla: I don't recall that happening...
Lily: I would have known if that happened.
Lily: Well it's a stupid game if you lie about things.
Time: Maybe they're a little... Too serious for this game?
Clover: … I don’t think game night is a good idea in the future.
Princess: What about Truth or Dare?
Honey: Truth or dare sounds fun. But nothing too serious because Aunt Holly would land herself in the hospital.
Cacao: What’s truth or dare?
Time: You pick a truth or dare. Truth is you just have to tell the truth to a question the person asks you and dare is where you have to do the thing you're told to do, no takebacks.
Cacao: I don’t know…
Holly: YES!
Honey: Alright then! Who'd like to go first?
Clover: Mama is going first and asking Holly.
Time: Ok then. Holly, truth or dare?
Time: chuckles Ok, well I dare you to try and lick your own elbow.
Vanilla: whispers You know that's impossible, right?
Time: shrugs I just wanna see her struggle.
Holly: proceeds to try for an hour Cacao: You are… very persistent, Holly.
Honey: She's so close. She can practically see victory!
Time: This is hilarious.
Pitaya: Darling, it’s not physically possible.
Holly: … You’re kidding.
Time: bursts out laughing
Vanilla: We were wondering how long it would take for you to notice.
