One sunny day in Gotham Princess Batman took a stroll in the garden of Wayne Manor, he was observing the foliage when his eye caught a specific shrub that takes up an extensive portion of the grounds. “Oleander” uttered Batman.
Why wouldn’t the world’s greatest detective not know of such a poisonous flower. Anyway, despite its danger, its seeds and leaves are used for medicine. Batman then turns around to some rustling noise and sees a suspicious figure with a dark cloak emerging out from the purple lilacs. A creepy playful voice then falls from the lips of this wary figure,
“Hello there Princess Batman, admiring the fine shrubbery I presume?”
Princess Batman then tenses, “Joker,” Batman states.
Joker then pushes his cloak off his head with annoyance, “Okay Bats, can you at least pretend that you are a naïve Princess?” Joker complains.
Batman contemplates.
“Fine, but after this you are going back to the Asylum.” He concedes.
Joker brightens up and pushes his hood back over his head then clears his voice, “Anyway, this gorgeous flower, has a special secret about it.” Batman narrows his eyes behind his mask as Joker continues, “When a petal is ingested it gives the person who consumed it the powers of Superman!” exclaims the Joker.
Batman then rolls his eyes and sighs, “Really?”
“Really!” Shouts Joker, he then walks up to the flower and plucks a petal off the Oleander, which immediately starts to irritate the Jokers hands, he than drops the leaf into Batman's palm.
Batman then heavily sighs and takes the Oleander petal and swallows it. Which would have irritated Batman's throat, but Batmans’ body has developed antibodies to certain poisons so this will do nothing to Batman, but for Jokers' sake he starts to show different symptoms from taking the Oleander. After a second of Princess Batman contemplating his life choices, he groans and puts a hand on his head and stomach, pretending to be nauseous and weak. Batman then weakly grasps his chest in pain as if he is having heart problems and slowly starts falling to the ground into a fake coma, like an incompetent actor.
Joker highly amused at princess Batmans acting then pumps his hands into the air in victory, “I did it! I killed the Bats!” exclaims Joker.
“Coma.” Groans Batman.
“Oh. Right!” Agrees Joker. “Now that Princess Batman is in a coma, the only thing to wake him is a true loves kiss!” The clown announces. Batman then peeks through one eye.
“Or,” Batman announces, “I can take FDP, the antidote for Oleander poisoning, even better yet, you can take me to the hospital and pump my stomach.” The Joker then kicks Batman in the side, and Batman immediately closes his eyes again, as Joker yells, “You are in a coma! Remember! GAH! You can't even be unconscious properly!”
The Joker looks up and hears a rustle above him and remembers the next act, he then proceeds to jump into a bush and peeks through it to watch the next scene. Catwomen then drops from her perch on the tree and saunters over to Batman.
“Oh my, look at what we have here.” Catwoman jokingly says. She then crouches down near Batman's face.
“Hi Selina.” Batman mumbles and opens his eyes to look at Catwomen.
“Hello Batsy, aren't you supposed to be in a coma?” Selina asked teasingly. Batman then sighs and closes his eyes again.
“My! What has happened to Gotham's pretty Princess?” she exclaims. “Who will save Gotham's people from the dastardly people now!” Wails Selina as she placed her head on Batman chest in agony. The Joker still in the bush, wipes away the stray tears going down his face.
“As my final farewell to you Princess Batman, I shall bless you with a kiss.” She then leans over Batman and gives him a quick kiss on the lips.
Batman then gradually opens his eyes, and Catwomen lets out an exaggerated gasp. Batman exhales loudly, “My hero.” he says, with the most uninterested look on his face. Selina laughs, “Now, that you have woken up, let's run off into the sunset and beat up Gotham's criminals, together.” Selina vocalizes with a teary voice.
“SCENE! Joker yells as he jumps out from the bush. “A plus performance Catwomen,” Joker says giggling. “C minus Bats, could have been better.” Joker disappointedly says as he looks at Batman and shakes his head.
Batman then gets up from the ground and walks up to the Joker. “Now that.” Batman pauses trying to think of what words to say. “Whatever that was. Is finally over, it's time to go back to Arkham Asylum, Joker.”
