“Ugh! Stupid hair!”
Yelena looked up from her book when she heard the angry yell from the bedroom. She stood up and walked to the room.
Looking in, she found Kate sitting on the edge of the bed trying to force a brush through her hair. Her hair was wet; she had clearly just gotten out of the shower.
Yelena smiled and walked in. “Here, let me do it, Kate Bishop,” she said, siting down next to Kate on the bed. Kate frowned grumpily. She was obviously frustrated with her tangled hair, given her previous shout.
“Don’t know if you’ll be able to get through this mess,” Kate grumbled. Yelena smiled and took the brush. She carefully drew the brush through Kate’s locks, trying her best to not hurt Kate.
It was only a few minutes before Yelena had gotten rid of all the tangles in Kate’s hair. ‘Done,” she said. Kate turned around in disbelief. “Already?” she asked. “That was fast.”
Yelena smiled. “What can I say, I’m a miracle worker.”
Kate laughed. “You're my miracle worker,” she said, and leaned in to give Yelena a soft kiss.
