Kate awoke to the annoying beeping of her alarm. She groaned quietly and turned it off. Yelena stirred beside her. “Is it already time to get up?” Yelena asked. Kate nodded.
She threw the blanket off of her and got off the bed. Yelena stayed curled up under the covers, eyes shut tightly against the light.
Kate smiled and pulled the blanket down. Yelena grumbled and tried to pull the blanket back up. “I don’t want to get up, it’s cold,” she whined.
Kate smiled. “It’s time to get up, though. Come on, Lena.”
Yelena frowned, but got out of bed and started getting dressed. Kate walked up behind Yelena and wrapped her arms around Yelena’s waist.
She pressed a kiss to Yelena’s cheek. Yelena smiled and kissed her back.
