He doesn't know why he's feeling like this, but whenever a particular constellation sends you messages he gets this uncomfortable sensation in the pit of his stomach.

He saw the message that was sent to you and a frown immediately formed on his face.
Why does this constellation keep on trying to get your attention?
Lately, he's been noticing that Secretive Plotter has been praising you for the smallest things, like when you manage to kill a ground rat, how you beat three people who ganged up on you, how you look stunning and so on.
Don't get him wrong, he found it very impressive that your fighting skills have developed drastically and he was proud of you, but the way Secretive Plotter keeps on complimenting you didn't sit right with him.
Of course, he feels a sense of pride when others applaud you for your skills since he was the one who taught you. He also agrees with the constellation that you indeed always look stunning-
Wait, what? Did he think that right?

Hold on this can't be! Why did he think that all of a sudden?! Perhaps he... Likes you?
Yoo Jonghyuk's frown deepened, making it turn into a scowl that could probably scare children away even with his handsome appearance that could slap famous celebrities 10 times in the face.
He didn't like where his thoughts are heading, not one bit.
Sure he might think that you look gorgeous and can melt his worries away even for a bit whenever you smile, how he feels at ease when he hears your calming voice, when your captivating e/c pupils stare at his, how he feels comfortable in your embrace-
"-Jonghyuk! Hey, Yoo Jonghyuk!"
He instantly snapped out of his thoughts to only be greeted by your face with a worried look plastered across it.
"You've been spacing out for a while now. Is there something bothering you?" You asked, your voice sounded so soft making the noirette's stiff shoulders relax.
He felt something warm hold his cheek gently as if he were a fragile glass that would break if a bit more pressure were applied.
You were gently holding his cheek as you examine his face for any signs of discomfort or pain. He watches you for a few more seconds before placing his large calloused hand over yours.
"I'm alright." He said, making you frown.
"What do you mean you're alright?! You almost got eaten alive by that large snake!" You raised your voice slightly and grabbed his other cheek with your non-dominant hand with a bit of force.
"... What?" He muttered in confusion.
You let out a frustrated sigh and pulled your away hand that he was holding, he immediately missed the warmth it gave, though he would never admit it.
You pointed towards a corpse of a large snake behind you. Its head was cut off, blood gushing onto the pavement covering it in crimson red liquid.
"That snake! It almost killed you, dumbass!" You yelled, feeling exasperated.
"Did you... Kill it?" He asked as he stared at the dead creature. Just by looking at it, he could tell how strong it was.
"Uh, yeah, but that's not the point!" You answered and faced him fully, holding both of his cheeks and squishing them.
"You almost died..." You whispered as you directly looked into his eyes. He saw the emotions that your eyes held, anger, relief, worry, and pain.
You were hurt.
He hurt you. He didn't like that, for all the things that could hurt you, it was him. How ironic isn't it?
He swore to himself that he wouldn't let you get hurt as he held your lifeless body in his arms on his last regression. But in the end, he was the one to cause you pain.
"I'm sorry." That was all he said.
You were completely dumbfounded, you've known him for quite a long time and he never apologized to anyone before, it was also easy to figure out how hard it is for him to apologize.
"Why are you apologizing?"
"For making you worried... and hurting you..." He mumbled the last part but you heard it.
"What do you mean hurting me?" You were perplexed, you don't know why he's suddenly acting like this.
"..." He stayed silent, still staring at your face as if he was memorising it.
He held one of your hands that was cupping his face and gently placed a kiss on your wrist.
Ba-dum
Your heart skipped at the small action, you could feel the heat rushing to your face and ears. You hastily stood up letting Yoo Junghyuk's face go in the process before taking a step back in surprise.
He also stood up after you and took a step forward.
What he did next made you feel butterflies in your stomach. You felt as if everything was all a trick your mind forces you to see.
He was smiling ever so lightly.
And it was directed towards you.
'Is he... Is he really smiling right now? Am I hallucinating?'
Your mind was in utter chaos, a lot of thoughts crossed your mind in a span of a few seconds.
As you were deep in thoughts, you felt something heavy on your head and a deep voice followed after.
"Let's get going."
You couldn't even process what was happening before he took your hand in his and started walking.
His face remained stoic but Yoo Jonghyuk felt that his heart was about to jump off of his ribcage. He didn't know why he decided to kiss your wrist or why he was holding your hand, heck he didn't even know why he smiled. All he knows is that he feels happy at this moment.
And happiness is something he hasn't felt in a long time. All he ever felt was anger, pain, and sadness. There was a void inside his heart, where for the longest time nothing could ever fill.
It was like an incomplete puzzle. Though it seems like he found the final piece for it to be whole again.
He finally has you and he won't ever let you go again, he swore to himself once more that he won't fail to protect you like what he did in his last regressions.
